Wonderful!

We spent one night here while walking the Camino and it was great. We spent the morning exploring Astorga then walked the few kms out to Rechivaldo. The owner of this B&B is very gracious and made us feel perfectly at home. She even got up early and had breakfast for us at 6:30 am so we could get an early start before it got too hot. Our room was spotlessly clean, cozy, with classic details, comfortable beds, and a lovely balcony. We were on the side nearest the busy road but it was very quiet at night. Definitely a good option if you want to be near Astorga but have all the benefits of a small charming village. Our hostess recommended a nearby restaurant that served food all day, including a €10 pilgrim menu.

Camino Frances

We have stayed here three times while walking the Camino Frances. This is a small family run hotel. The hostess is very welcoming. It is clean and the rooms are comfortable. There is a delicious breakfast offered prior to undertaking the next stage of your Camino. I think that you will be happy that you stayed here.

Most enjoyable stop on the Camino

We spent a night here and found it to be the most enjoyable stop on our Camino. The host, Dori, was especially friendly and did everything to make our stay enjoyable.
The room was clean warm and without the high humidity of many stops on the Camino. She made us a very nice breakfast to get us going in the morning. She pointed us to a wonderful restaurant (Restaurante Asturnum) which served us the delicious Cocido Maragato.

Very nice B&B on the Camino

While walking the Camino, we chose Murias de Rechivaldo to avoid the busy city and enjoy a smaller town experience. La Veleta is conveniently located, right along the way. The host is very friendly (Spanish only) and the building is lovely - quaint, clean and very comfortable. There is a bar very conveniently located across the street, and a good restaurant nearby. Breakfast was included with the room and was very good in a nice dining area. This is a very pleasant little town and so nice for an evening walk. The only negative was that the internet service was slow and unreliable. Regardless, I would certainly recommend this accommodation - it is not very far beyond busy Astorga and provides a lovely respite. Slightly higher price compared to some of the accommodation we used, but very pleasant and the price did include a nice breakfast, so good value overall.

Good for 1 night stay

Standard Spanish professional B&B/Hostal/hotel with 5 rooms. All with private bathroom. Room clean and OK but little space to put your things. Beds good. Breakfast simple but good and home made by the very friendly owner. Good location with some private parking immediately in front. A good Meson for a meal practically next door and a good bar for drinks and snacks opposite to the left.
