Great location

Small hotel strategically located for those who want to meet Astorga completely on foot.
Friendly and attentive staff.
Good breakfast.
It has easy access private parking.

Do not book massages.

The hotel is fantastic, and the service is great too. I rated it poorly because it is a spa hotel, and that is what made my stay unpleasant. I booked a one-hour massage, which was not cheap, and the experience was very unpleasant, to be honest. The masseur left me worse than I was, with incredible pain the next day. I am a person who frequently visits physiotherapists and masseurs; I know when I am treated properly. I had to tell him several times that he was hurting me, and not the pain of a muscle spasm, but pain from improper handling. Most of the massage hour consisted of rubbing and shaking. In the end, there was already an unpleasant atmosphere. And the experience ends with cleaning the oil with a rough towel. As a joke. €65 and I leave worse off. Disappointing is an understatement. I left angry and tense.

Needs improvement

The most remarkable is the location, opposite the Gaudí Palace and the Cathedral. As well as the walking distance to the main square and the restaurant area. Attentive and friendly staff. Room with two beds joined with very comfortable mattresses. Spacious bathroom, although to be a 4 star was missing details. Breakfast had some scrambled eggs already very dry, we asked if they made us others and it was not possible. Fruit a bit pasty. Breakfast is scarce and improveable.

Unforgettable experience

Hotel very well located, with impeccable customer service that made our stay very pleasant. We enjoyed the facilities and spa, although the main pool was cooler than expected.

Defrosted room and regular breakfast

Scrambled eggs are inedible from how dry and stiff they are but the worst part is that they only have one coffee machine and you have to queue for more than 15 min to get coffee.
Also, they don't have enough big cups, so you can't have lattes because they overflow from the cup, you have to have cut coffee.
As they saw that I had been disgusted by not being able to drink coffee, when they checked out they invited us to a real latte, since there was no one there anymore.Detail that I thank a lot but that has not prevented me from writing this review, because I think it is a cool and comfortable hotel but that the managers should take action on the matter, especially the cleaning of those rooms, to improve further.The breakfast roaster is not very efficient either, as I say.
