4 days in Barcelona with small children

Apartment in Via Murillo. Suitable for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children). Well stocked with all comforts: towels, sheets, hairdryer, kitchen cleaning kit. Very convenient location at the Poble Sec metro stop. For us it was a great experience! First time abroad with kids and it went great! The structure was very comfortable for us!

Sparkling Clean and New Looking

We were a group of 8 - grandparents (us), our son, his wife, our two granddaughters - 12 & 16. our daughter-in-laws sister and her 9 yr old son. There are always good and bad things in every accommodation. Here there was much that was good. It looked new and clean and is well fitted out with lovely plates and cutlery, plus everything else you could want in the kitchen - watch the microwave though as it is high up on a shelf which is loose & not level - the whole thing nearly tipped over the edge.
The three bedrooms have places to hang your clothes and bedside tables with lamps. As there were 8 of us two had to sleep on a sofa bed in the kitchen/dinning area. But there are no mirrors in the bedrooms, only the bathrooms. There are two bathrooms in the apartment we had; everything works as it should - good water pressure.
What is really bad is that the air conditioner is turned off at 11 pm through until 8 am the following day - the reason is that the outside unit makes so much noise that neighbours in other apartments complained - hence the restriction. We were there in the middle of a heatwave which made it very difficult to sleep, even though we had only a sheet over us.
That said, the apartment is located in an area where there are supermarkets and restaurants just a short walk away and a MRT station just down the road to access the rest of Barcelona.

La ubicación no es mala siendo que no es de los barrios más lindos y turísticos de BCN. Esta bien conectado incluso caminando se llega a las ramblas. Hay negocios y súper muy cerquita. No me gustó la cama. Urgente un recambio de colchón. Y los vecinos muy ruidosos. No cuidan el descanso ajeno. Capitulo aparte discusión a los gritos una noche en algún dpto vecino hasta las 3am. No volvería.

Appartamento in via concordia

Ci siamo trovati veramente bene. Il proprietario molto gentile, al check in ci ha spiegato tutto per bene e poi non lo abbiamo più visto fino al check-out. Il giorno del check-out ci hanno permesso di lasciare i bagagli nel loro ufficio per poi prendere l'aereo.
L'appartamento era abbastanza grande per due persone, un po' rumoroso: si sentivano sia i rumori esterni che quelli del appartamento superiore.
Era molto pulito e ogni due giorni cambiavano gli asciugamani.
Non ci sono vere finestre ma solo una piccola vicino alla porta d'ingresso e quella in bagno. Dalla camera si può accendere a una piccola terrazza che da sulla parte interna del palazzo.
Posizione ottima, molto vicino a diverse linee della metro che ci hanno permesso di spostarci comodamente.

Aspettative non raggiunte

Dalle foto sembra un bell’appartamento, una volta entrati ci si rende conto che i muri arrivano forse ai 2 metri di altezza, la pulizia è al limite dell’accettabile. Davanti al vaso in bagno le persone un po’ più alte del metro e 65/70 non riescono a stare seduti comunemente ma di lato perchè non entrano le gambe... insomma struttura insufficiente. La posizione invece molto comoda sia per i vicini supermercati, sia per la metro a meno di 5 min a piedi. Zona tranquilla.
