Comfortable Stay

This hotel is perfect for a solo traveler. It’s located in a safe area and it is close to many attractions and restaurants, super walkable. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The lobby and rooms were very clean. The moment I stepped in the room it seemed as if the housekeeper had just cleaned. Cute rooftop bar and pool area. The breakfast was very tasty. Definitely recommend and would come back. Very affordable and walkable distance.

My partner and I stayed at Hotel America Barcelona from 14–19 July, and overall we had a very enjoyable stay.
The hotel is well located, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast met our expectations. Overall, we felt the hotel offers excellent value for money, and we would definitely consider staying here again.
The only disappointing experience was on the evening of the Spain vs. France match. We watched the first half at a nearby restaurant and returned to the hotel's rooftop terrace for the second half, expecting to enjoy the game there.
Unfortunately, the rooftop was completely full of young people who appeared not to be hotel guests. As a result, there were no seats available for us, so we had to stand throughout the match. At the same time, the bar staff were so busy that no one noticed us, and we never had the opportunity to order a drink.
It honestly felt as though we had walked into a private party where hotel guests were no longer the priority. After staying at the hotel for almost a week, this was disappointing.
That said, this was the only negative experience during our stay. Overall, Hotel America Barcelona is a very good hotel that offers great value for money, and we would happily recommend it.

Room was immaculate, staff was very helpful, friendly, and informative. Roof top pool/bar was very relaxing, location of the hotel was perfect-close to so many restaurants and walking streets. I will definitely stay here on my next visit.

Overall good. It had everything we needed and was in a great location, close to everything like bakeries, restaurants and shops. Do NOT reserve a taxi with the hotel. Hotel staff said by reserving a taxi to the airport which they did for me, it would cost between 35-40 Euro. However upon arrival it cost me 52 Euro. Make sure to agree on a price and verify with the hotel and taxi that their pricing is the same. I feel a little ripped off, which is why I took a star rating off. Otherwise, decent hotel.

Perfect surprise

Excellent, fresh clean with amazing staff. Had to book last minute as previous hotel had renovations and decided not to let us know until the 11th hour. Could not fault. Definitely recommend for location and facilities. Pool and sauna were lovely a long day exploring.
