Good location with a nice restaurant in the hotel, comfortable bed, good air-conditioning and nice shower (even though it left the bathroom rather wet without a curtain). Near the bus stop for airport buses.

I absolutely LOVED this boutique hotel. It is one of my favorite places that I've stayed in my life!! The building is beautiful and interesting, including an old glass elevator, and has stunningly stylish and modern decor throughout the common areas and in the room, which was super cool. The bed was very comfortable, there was a lovely rainfall shower, and there are thoughtful amenities in the rooms. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful and were patient with my many questions about getting around Barcelona, and the hotel is located on a pretty, tree-lined street about 2 blocks from the metro. Lastly, the hotel restaurant is gorgeous and has a VERY delicious (and reasonably priced) breakfast buffet in the morning. I wish I could have stayed there longer!

It was a night and we could sleep well. But we won't come back

The hotel has a very good location in the center of Barcelona. It is an old tenement building converted into a hotel. It looks like an old man, very deteriorated wooden floor. My room is sorry to enter, with unsmoothed walls, deteriorated floor, minimal furniture, little natural light. However, the bed was comfortable and clean, and the towels good and clean.
The reception staff very dry, they make me pay in advance.

Awful hotel

The photos of this place look great .
I checked in to a small single room . It was awful. The room was very much in need of paint . And the bathroom had an awful smell . I had to leave the bathroom window open to sleep .

Cozy hotel in central location

Booked through online booking site with beautiful, spacious, clean and stylish rooms in the photos. It didn’t disappoint! It was as if you were there when it was taken.
Firstly, reception staff was welcoming , courteous and greeted us with a smile. Then we were given a room a double twin bed - spacious, clean with two pillows each bed and more spacious bathroom.
The bed was comfy and we had a very goodnight sleep the rest of our stay.
Restaurant was very classy with clean white linen and lovely table decor. Food in the menu was varied and delicious.
There was a luggage storage facility so you can leave your suitcases if you need it.
The Aerobus 1 & 2 drop-off and pick-up station is only a 5 min walking distance from the hotel which was very helpful.
Location was spot on! Metro stops all over within waling distance so you can be anywhere in such a short period of time.
All in all, Hotel Market is a perfect choice if you want to visit BCN. Thank you for making our stay worry free and comfortable! Definitely will recommend to family and friends!
