Off the chart helpful accommodating staff
The location of this special boutique hotel is perfect. The staff was off the chart accommodating. It overlooks a small square with a fountain that is charming. It is a quiet place to come back to after a bustling day in Barcelona! It is not a big high end resort, so don’t expect that. We found a neighborhood tapas place and a wine bar right around the corner that became a favorite hang. Thank you Hotel Neri for giving us such a beautiful experience!

It was great except for Ioann Migunov
This is an intimate botique hotel located in the gothic quarters. What made our stay special was the presence of their bellhop named Thoma. He was a pleasure to deal with and was always cheery and willing to help. A real gem! But please be aware that the hotel does not have car street access -- that means you will have to haul your luggage for a bit upon arrival or wait for a special taxi to come in and pick you up and as the access is tight, it can take some time. What dampened our experience was Ioann who is the front desk manager - He promised us he will arrange a taxi that is capable of carrying 7 people with 7 luggages. I even emailed him about this making sure there will be such a vehicle. On the day we needed it, the taxi will only fit 5 people and 5 luggages -- which resulted in me spending an extra 60 Euros on an extra taxi. When confronted, Ioann denied his mistake. Its sad when a manager cannot own up to his own mistake -- but it is such an amateur mistake -- knowing there is no taxi that will actually fit 7 people with 7 luggages is such elementary knowledge!

Quiet and luxurious Barcelona getaway
Hotel Neri was perfect -- quiet, luxurious, and best of all, the concierge staff was attentive to our every need - large and small. Ivan, Tatiana, Jaime. Excellent breakfast too! Thank you for being so wonderful, we will be back!

THE Place to Stay in Barcelona!
Hotel Neri has everything going for it: tucked away in the Gothic Quarter,
we found a welcoming, intimate atmosphere with attentive staff ready to meet your every need. Our comfortable room had a cozy bed with every amenity you can think of. And then there’s breakfast! Each morning we were served a lovely tray of continental delights as well as the option to order from the menu: we highly recommend the Eggs Benedict as well as the French Toast. Even though you are in the heart of the old city, this hotel is quiet, spotlessly clean, and has a delightful rooftop garden complete with a pool. We’ve already recommended this hotel to fellow travelers and will continue to do so. Worth every penny.
