Good family friendly apartments
Brilliant apartments very central to everything, pool good, although you need to pay €5 for beds, great communication & updates everyday. Supermarket on site very reasonable & well stocked. Woild have no problem staying in these apartment again.

Good but can be improved..
Stayed in Kingfisher a few times. Staff are very friendly and responsive.
Only negative for me is the lack of a washing machine in the apartments and no AC in bedroom.
There is a laundrette in the complex but the machines don't effectively wash the clothes! Had to do three washes to get them anywhere near acceptable. I travel very light with only an underseat bag, so rely on an effective washer.
Unfortunately these issues means I'd be reluctant to book again.

Faulty Towers Comes to Mind
Arrived after travelling 24 hours from our home country with no idea as to how to find our building and room, and no one to show us. Directional signs/maps of the complex appear to be lacking. When it came time to pay the rest of our bill we received a letter under the door but we couldn’t locate the office. There was no map or directions so two staff members kindly spent 20 minutes walking around eagerly trying to help us find it.
When we arrived we were desperate to use our bathroom but we were unable to unlock our door! Reception told my family member that they would not help! He was dumbfounded at being treated like that as he had been in the accommodation business himself. I took a turn and, after informing the man at the front desk that I was about to fall asleep from exhaustion in the hallway, a worker was sent to unlock the door. He raced away without confirming that we knew how to work the lock. From then on, we resigned ourselves to struggling with it on an ongoing basis.
There were lots of nice towels but no facecloths. Upon arrival our hands needed to be washed after the long flights and there was no hand soap!
The minimal number of toilet paper rolls in the bathroom became an issue when one of us developed gastroenteritis, a highly contagious, nasty virus causing endless bouts of diarrhea. It was so bad that, thankfully, a doctor made a house call. Fortunately one of us was well enough to find a store nearby selling lots of toilet paper and disinfectant because there was none of the latter in our unit.
Be warned that the single beds are very narrow, the narrowest we've encountered in years of travel. One wonders how a person with a large body frame/mass could manage to get a good night’s sleep. The mattresses are losing their firmness. We live in a cold climate and found the supply of thin blankets, one per bed, to be inadequate for when the temperature drops.
Overall the apartment was clean with just one small pile of ants swarming in a corner of the bedroom. The balconies had not been tidied up as there were bird droppings, piles of feathers, several dead earwigs and lines of tiny ants making their way indoors when we opened the sliding doors.
We especially enjoyed the balcony with the morning sun and the view of the beautiful sea. The shower was lovely. The kitchenette had everything we needed to prepare simple meals. It was nice to be so close to the seawall and the restaurants. Evenings were peaceful.
Oddly, unlike the previous two cleaning times, after the third week the soiled dishcloth was not replaced. The beds were made up with the same blankets but they were covered in a fine layer of debris! It appeared that they must have been placed on the floor before it was even swept or washed.
Overall, our experiences ranged from excellent to poor. They could easily be improved by monitoring how guests are doing and by inspecting the apartments on a regular basis, paying attention to comments and not waiting for guests to complain. Kingfisher has so much potential!

Beautiful location,exceptional value
From booking to returning home,everything was spot on.Great communication. Fantastic location with beautiful views from the balcony.The apartment was spotless,the hosts have thought of everything you would need,little touches like washing up liquid,cloths tea towels, tea coffee sugar,even bottled water in the fridge on arrival.The beds were super comfy and linens changed during our 5 day stay.There was a ceiling fan in the bedroom and FREE air con in the lounge,even the use of a safe at no extra cost.Bath with a powerful shower over and plenty of towels.So glad we found this little gem,thankyou Kingfisher apartments we will return and recommend to all

Sea View Perfection
Just returned home after a very happy stay in a Kingfisher Apartment, was amazed at the high standard of cleanliness in Apartment and complete Complex. Apartment was bright and airy, well equipped, beautiful sea view from Balcony, minutes walk from Beach, Beautiful Paloma Park, Restaurants and shops. Amazing large Swimming Pool/Aqua Park with sparkling water. Infact perfect in every way. Well done to the staff who maintain this. Will return.
