Pueblo Evita Club and Pueblo Evita Hill are separate. Evita Hill apartments are all privately owned, Evita Club are timeshare and part owned. So, your experience in Evita Hill will very much depend on how good your host (the owner is).
We had an excellent stay for 28 days in May/June 25, but that was in part because our host was very good and he kept his apartment to a good standard, plus he obviously paid the maintenance fees because we had no issues with using the Evita Club facilities and pool etc. In fact, the staff are excellent, with a special mention to Paulo and Oliver the lifeguard and pool attendant, plus the staff in the clubhouse, who could not be more friendly and helpful.
PLEASE NOTE: If your owner/host in Evita Hill has not paid maintenance fees then you may not be able to use the pool as the attendants (quite rightly) check room numbers on entry. Also, Evita Club reception is NOT for Evita Hill, so don't expect a reception service, it's your host who should deal with everything for you. Ours, Stefan (room 1432, booked via VRBO), was excellent.
Whilst both the apartment and the Pueblo Evita complex's are 30+ years old, and a bit worn in places, it is generally well maintained. A certain level of fitness is required to cope with all the steps (up to Evita Hill apartments), but this is offset by the fabulous view from the terrace.
The kitchen area has all the basics required to prepare meals, plus a washing machine. The bathroom has had a high-quality refit with an excellent shower. We found the bed comfortable and the aircon works well. Very good Wi-Fi connection and the TV had about 6 UK channels.
The main pool area downstairs is excellent. as mentioned, the staff are always helpful in the pool and clubhouse. NOTE: There is a second pool on the upper level, which is closer to the apartment, but this only opens during peak season, so it was not available during our stay.
The location was great for the beach, bars, restaurants, supermarket and the train station. Please don’t be put off by all the bads reviews but also make sure you book with a good owner/host like we did our you may be disappointed. Our apartment/host is highly recommended.

Old small and poor maintenance, look elsewhere, don't bring a car
This is a large complex with many rooms. Room (1011) was small with 2 beds, 2 baths one small bedside table in room , room old and in poor condition. We. had large water leaks in two windows, and from under the front door, this door had large wood rot on the bottom. There were no ceiling fans, and no bathroom vent fans so the bathrooms stayed "wet " during our visit. the casa brand flat electric cooktop had no instructions and had to be electrialcally reset by a manager. the Beko brand clothes washer had no instructions, maintenance person had to show us how to use it. this large complex had only one dryer in the laundry room area , We had problems with the front door lock, (2 were on the door) and night manager had to explain procedure to open the door. the complex's security entry gate gave trouble and people propped it open one night with a cement block . few coat hangers. Difficult to find street parking as area has restaurants. no dedicated parking. saw one very large roach. the shower about 3 feet x 3 feet square was the small one with a curved plastic door that I have only seem once in my life. A hilly area, guard/Hans rails missing in some areas.

Horrible management
Yes the Manager there Maria is a cook.
She fakes a smile to get you in and then at check out she charges anything she wants. She ripped us off hundreds of Euros. Everything was charged extra. The electricity she charged what she wanted. The internet connection was bad and also charged extra. Horrible manager.

Had to pay €40 for late check in which was ok with us however the man who met us didn’t have a word of English and was very unhelpful and rude on phone when we didn’t know where to meet him. Over the 7 day stay the reception wasn’t open once, nobody to contact for help. Was given 3 towels and one toilet roll to last us a week, had to buy our own in shop. Apartment was outdated however clean and spacious, lovely balcony with nice view. Bed wasn’t very comfortable. Rooftop pool was nice and clean. Overall the stay was ok for the cheap price we paid however I would not return.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM HOTEL
Do not stay at this scam place!
Where do I even start? We arrived and couldn’t figure out how to get to reception as it’s behind key gate (you only get key after you check in) so we were calling hotel and after 30min someone came to let us in. The reception was never open while we were there for whole 10 days. What an absurd. Maria was the lady that deals with all the clients and her attitude was appalling. At the check in we were told we have to pay 100 euro deposit for each room and we were not allowed to see them before hand. (We had 3 rooms in total for our family) so we paid 300 euro and also they charged us for baby cots 30 euros.
To summarise- it’s a hostel not hotel. We only got partial money back from our deposit as they charge for inet, broken glasses this and that. Worst experience of our lives! This was our first holiday in 3 years with family members coming from all over the world. Beds are uncomfortable, fridges make noise, washing machines don’t rinse clothes so they were coming out wet. Kettle and coffee machine were that disgustingly dirty we couldn’t even use them. None of the apts were cleaned before we checked in and there was no soap or shampoo. When we called Maria 2 days later after we checked in to see if we can get new fresh towels and more toilet paper we were told 1 roll should do us all for a week.
WORST EXPERIENCE IN OUR LIVES, this place is biggest scam and is run by people that are not only rude but also scammers. I wish I read other people reviews before we booked this hotel. Stay away people!
