To repeat

I had always come simply for lunch but this time it was time to stay one weekend and the two nights there were perfect. A lot of peace, an unparalleled environment and Maite's attention that throughout the stay made us feel at home and as if he knew us all our lives. Needless to say, the restaurant menu is a pass, any dish is a hit. Places like this are few and it is a pleasure to find and enjoy them, we will return.

Little hotel with personal touch and high quality.

First of all; Benaocaz i stunning. It's a little white village high upon the mountains (easy to reach by car) with stunning view and many possibilities for a walk or hike. El Parral is a little hotel with only a few rooms and has a restaurant. The room was large, nice bed, airco, privat shower and toilet. Is also has a magnificient terrace and a little pool in the garden. Big enough for some cooling down after a hike with a glass of wine or beer. The breakfast was one of the best we had during our trip through Andalucia. Fresh orange juice and very good coffee. They really do their best to make your stay perfect. The restaurant also has high quality but for us their were too many dishes with meat on the menu. Benaocaz is a quiet little village but there are 3 restaurants. Directly from the village you can start a few hikes or you can drive in the direction of Grazalema where there are a lot of possibilities. Our stay was absolutely perfect and we really hope to come back!

Comfortable

Room & en-suite bath were clean, comfortable & adequately sized. Outside terrace & pool were great for relaxing after a day of hiking. Maite was very accommodating & helpful with good English language skills. Dinners here each night were delicious

quaint with excellent attention to needs

Our Mac's Adventure self-guided walking trip booked us into Posada El Parral. The owners were so nice and helpful, the room nicely set up, and dinner by owner chef Ivan excellent. Benaocaz is a charming little "white town" in hills. Great hiking in the area. This was a favorite of places we stayed on the trip.

A truly fabulous place to stay.
From the moment we arrived we received such a friendly welcome.
Lovely terrace, good beer, coffee and wine and the food in the evening was simply superb.
A lovely couple who are clearly working hard to succeed.
Even if you don’t stay here, and you should, then eat here!!
