Fantastic apartment, fantastic views, fantastic location
What an absolutely beautiful apartment, and a breathtaking view. The walk into the old town is all on the flat, we did it most days. We stayed for 6 days and will definitely be returning. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and will highly recommend.

Very bad!!!!
Received on arrival by the concierge. Actually no explanation nothing got. Turns out fridge broke.
Only got another one last day.
Went out to dinner Christmas Day. (Walking there was close) At 8 pm my husband went back to let the dogs pee. Broke off the key in the lock of our apartment.
No one's been reached. Looking for a key maker myself. Finally got Maria from the reception on the line. She agreed to the keymaker because she couldn't help us either.
After a long wait, the mechanic came. Been drilling for at least 2 hours. Finally door open.
Then pay the bill 750 euros!!
Talked to Maria next day, we would get our money back!! No sorry nothing. Not had a whole Christmas dinner.
Been there a few times in the summer, it was always said our lawyer is working on it. But is now Jan 2026 still nothing received!!
Otherwise bare uncozy apartment. For the washing machine you have to buy a coin that has to be used immediately because there is only one in that big building!

Spectacular views - highly recommend
We had an amazing stay at this apartment, and the views were absolutely spectacular. The apartment was well-equipped and had everything we needed, especially with a one-year-old in tow. The only minor issue was with one of the bedroom wardrobe doors, which kept coming off the track. We reported it, and the staff promptly came to fix it, which was greatly appreciated.
Additionally, they offer a convenient cleaning service at just 7 euros per wash, and the friendly staff are happy to assist with this if needed. All the staff members were lovely, attentive, and always on hand to help with anything — nothing was too much trouble.
Poniente Beach was absolutely lovely, perfect for relaxing walks both in the morning and evening before heading out to dine. I highly recommend The Half Way House Poniente — the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, especially with a baby. The food was outstanding; we dined there most mornings and evenings because everything was so divine. Just a heads-up: the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays.
Overall, a fantastic experience, and we would definitely recommend this place! As we will be coming back again.

Perfect!
I love this place! It’s the second time we have been here and I think it’s just perfect! The security is top, the people who work here is supernice and helpfull, the beach is right across the street, it’s clean and nice, it’s peacefull here and the rooms are very good. The view is real nice!
You can take the bus to town, or to La Marina or other places - it’s very simple. You can also walk into the town, along the beach. You can take walks up to Virgen del Mar, you can visit Mundomar, Aqualandia, Terra Mitica or go to a market.
I can higly recommend Maria Cristina Beach.

Were in July 2024 10 days 2 children and 2 adults. We took the MBC apartment on the 4th floor (2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom). From the positive-mattresses comfortable, closet with bedrooms, air conditioning, hot water, excellent location close to the beach, excellent sea view, huge balcony where the table and chairs stood. Beautiful promenade, warm sea. walk to the old town about 30 minutes, but the closer to the old town the more people on the beach. Our beach wasn't crowded. There were body towels and two kitchen towels, a dishwashing sponge. Cleaning was done once on the fifth day with pastel linen and towels replaced. Nice swimming pool with sunbeds, lots of shaded areas under the brethren and a canopy. The pool is clean, cleaned every day. Living room with table, TV and sofa. At the reception (up to 18) are pleasant staff who responded promptly to requests. Of the negative - the kitchen is staffed minimally, in fact there were only plates, cups, glasses, appliances, pots and pans. If you need something extra (e.g. corkscrew, grout, etc.) - you should ask at the reception. There were no products, including non-perishables (e.g. salt and sunflower oil). There were no bin bags. The furniture is very old, the doors are loose and cling to the floor in every room. The kitchen is just for cooking, a nook where there was a stove, an oven and hinged drawers. You had to eat either on the balcony table or in the living room. There was no washing machine or dishwasher. Laundry fee 7 euros on the 1st floor . My subjective opinion is the apartment doesn't match the value. The location and sea beach are great , but it is worth looking for another apartment where it is nice to return. I'm not going back to this place.
