The Level at Melia Villaitana
We have just returned from 2 weeks at The Level Melia Villaitana. Our stay was most enjoyable, our room was spacious and comfortable, loved the heated pool and the staff were all attentive and professional. The staff in the Level lounge were great, but the one staff member who went above and beyond was Ancuta, she was outstanding.
We took half board, but we found the buffet not to our taste as cooked items were luke warm. We used the other restaurants and were very satisfied with them.
We enjoyed the golf course and club, staff were excellent and very accommodating.
Would definitely return, but on a B&B basis

Very poor avoid this place.
Not a 5 star hotel at all not even a good 3 star , very poor attitude towards the guests everything costs to much the food is bad the rooms are just as bad , nothing to facilitate you at all they couldn't care 1 bit & i can see people not ever returning here .

Do not waste your money
Avoid, very expensive and staff are rude, I’ve been 4 times but this time it’s lost its appeal, called reception 12 times before I got a response, paid the £800 upgrade and got put in a crap room, staff when challenged about this were rude, nobody cared about the paying guests, all they cared about was the conferences that were every day, it didn’t stop with conferences day after day, so I spent £4500 here then another 1500 on food and I would not return, in fact I would not visit another Meliá as it’s put me and my family off being treated so bad after all the visits and money spent….we will now choose a hotel group who looks after their guests ,,,

We went in May 2026 in a deluxe suit.
Positives.
Rooms are spacious ans clean
The grounds are great and high pools.
Negatives
When we went you couldn't get a drink after 8pm unless you went to one place.
No pool bar and no way of getting a snack during the day.
The food on the buffet was cold and repetitive. I didn't see one person probe any food at any time.
I only went for 1 breakfast and that was enough and twice for dinner.
The Italian restaurant was nice.
I will never go back.
Check in took 1 hour .

Like home.... at The Level Villaitana
To say that the Villaitana is a wonderful hotel, a beautiful in terms of design and facilities, is a no-brainer. But it would be like a box superbly wrapped in precious gift paper, but empty, if not for the staff who are responsible for making any stay a dream. The family that makes up the staff of this hotel is the real gift that is inside this “box”. Starting with Isabel (a real shame that we couldn't say hello) that makes everything work. And what to say about José (his crony ) who we just met and who has won us with his smile and his way of being (it wins you just to know him). To arrive at the hotel and see our Ceci in reception is to get off to a good start the visit , it is like sunlight rising after the storm. Be able to greet Gimena and her eternal smile, and Yara (thanks for coming to greet us) who is a charmer. Being able to see Patri (one heaven) and Ana (another heaven) again at breakfast is the best way to start the day. And what to say about Alexandru (we still remember our first dinner at Casa Nostra, to frame ) kindness and good work. And as always, I leave for last our most special couple, because for us they are very special, LIVI AND MARCOS. Without them, the LEVEL wouldn't be the same. The affection you give us, your trust, your good work, your kindness, everything is priceless, we will never know how to thank you. Finally, recommend the restaurant LIMA (magnificent creation of Vicente, a hug) and its manager, our Marcos, and all the guys who make up the staff, if you want to enjoy a category dinner.
