They canceled a paid reservation to raise the price

I am sharing this experience because I find it, to say the least, unacceptable. I booked 2 rooms yesterday for a price and they charged the amount to my card. Today I find that they have requested a refund and have told Booking that they tried to process the payment and could not, and they have canceled the reservation, with the sole purpose of listing it at a higher price after this cancellation. I called the accommodation several times yesterday; they did not answer. I have called several times today and they do not answer; I have also sent messages that they have not answered either, but they have been able to cancel the reservation. On top of having no shame, cowards.
I am going to try by all means, since it just happened, to have this complaint go where it needs to go, since I have all the time in the world to file a claim against you because this is, at the very least, reportable.

A hotel that deserves more stars

The hotel with two stars is more than enough, without air conditioning in the dining room for the 5 days we stayed, the food was terrible, with no choice between two options, it was lentils, either you eat them or you leave them, with no option for another dish, and the dessert is better left unmentioned.

HORRIBLE FOOD.

A one-star experience; the food we were given was horrible and without variation for three nights in a row—poorly cooked and poorly presented pork that was inedible. It is only good for sleeping and nothing more. The breakfast does not even resemble the minimum that a four-star hotel should offer; there are no eggs, nothing hot, practically nothing at all.

Lack of staff to attend to dining rooms

The hotel is simple and clean and although their staff are friendly and attentive they are very overwhelmed, lack of staff to attend properly. Food is not bad but breakfast is scarce. It is not a 4 star hotel, with 2 stars would be justified.

Dismal treatment received, without solutions and without responding to emails.

Beware of this hotel when booking.
I want to highlight the dismal treatment received by this hotel, they are not up to a 4*.
We had a non-refundable reservation but if you can change dates, because of unexpected work, children and distance (700km) it was impossible to go to our holiday.
On several occasions via telephone and email, which were not answered (an embarrassment), we were not able to postpone the reservation to 2026, as for the previous reasons in 2025 it was impossible.
It is regrettable that a hotel does not solve its customers and even worse that it does not respond to emails, so I can say that “empathy” neither know it and will never know it, since we gave enough time to give us a solution and the hotel could unlock said date / room.
Cancel for free of course they didn't even think about it... any possible change of date depended on the hotel, what a price!!!
In short, they have “kept” €400 for the jet, without responding and without showing their face.
