Not recommended.

The hotel is not trustworthy; they try to deceive through booking by not canceling reservations when they have approved the cancellation. Not a recommended hotel.

Great location within walking distance of the historic center. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast was very good, with hot dishes as well as continental options.

A good compromise

A good location to reach the center in 15 minutes, very friendly and smiling staff. Good and complete breakfast. Room spacious and clean. View of the Cathedral from the room. Underground parking of the hotel with assigned spaces but in a non-Exclusive Service garage quite cumbersome both for the access to the assigned spaces, and for the exit that will take place through with a key that must then be returned to reception.

A Note for Such Travellers as May Follow After Me

Hotel Rice Boulevard
We arrived at the hotel at an hour better described as early morning than late night, travel-worn and uncertain of what welcome might await us. To our great relief, we were received with courtesy and good order by a fine young gentleman at the desk, who conducted our check-in with flawless efficiency and placed the room keys in our hands without delay.
Upon entering the chamber, we were agreeably surprised. The room greeted us with a light, flowery scent touched with citrus, a small but thoughtful detail that spoke of care. All was notably clean, the bedding well kept, and the supply of hot water plentiful, allowing us to wash away the dust of the road in comfort.
Travellers arriving by carriage—or by more modern conveyance—will be pleased to know that there is ample public parking in the vicinity, including a large lot just to the west of the hotel, which greatly eases one’s mind.
The situation of the house is most advantageous. The town centre and the cathedral lie no more than ten minutes on foot. We took particular pleasure in walking through the quiet residential streets, crossing the Bridge of Santa María, passing beneath the Arch of Santa María, and finding ourselves, almost without effort, upon the main square, with the cathedral rising before us.
Our stay here was thoroughly enjoyed, and I can recommend this establishment with confidence to any traveller seeking comfort, courtesy, and an excellent position from which to explore Burgos.
