Excellent choice in Caceres.
Probably my favorite hotel during our road trip in Extremadura (even though we mostly stayed at select Paradores). Casa Pizarro has the perfect location, wonderfully friendly reception staff, beautiful rooms and delicious a la carte breakfast from the restaurant next door. Overall lovely!

A hotel to always return to.
Magnificent, beautiful, and very clean hotel.
Very friendly and professional staff.
Perfect location to enjoy the historic center of Cáceres.
I cannot comment on the restaurant because I did not use it.

Not a Good Experience
Difficulty in booking this hotel as they did not acknowledge my online booking on their site until I phoned. Arrived to find I had been allocated a room with no window - only a skylight which could not be opened for fresh air and had no blind. Room was also designed for impaired mobility which made bathroom facilities awkward. Had to return 'Ceasar Salad' twice in restaurant as it basically was improperly prepared - lattice drissled with dressing, wrong type lettuce, blocks of plastic cheese rather than flaked parmesan, no croutons. Left dish untouched but waiter insisted on full payment despite complaints. Raised issue with reception who responded that the restaurant is under separate management. Overall not a good experience.

This oroperty us lovely. Our room 102 was large and very well appointed. MAJOR ISSUE was the noise. And all my years of traveling and believe me I've traveled a lot this was the noisiest hotel I have ever experienced in my entire life bar none. We stayed there on a Saturday and Sunday and Sunday night the shouting and yelling from the hotel bar below and the Gin bar across the street kept us up till 3:00 a.m.. we thought Sunday might be better but the Gin bar across the street was full of drunks and they stayed up till past 1:00 a.m.. unfortunately. I think they need to improve the thickness of their glass to block out the sound although if they just hadn't allowed people to come into the outer lobby of the hotel from the bar that might have helped and the sound would not have traveled up the stairwell.
I spilled water in our bathroom and used the shower mat to clean up. It was almost black. Perhaps a good scour of the floor is due?
The staff was very helpful and as I saud property is nice and well located to old town. We paid a lot for 2 nights of awful sleep.

The friendly staff, the cleanliness of the hotel, the spaciousness of the room, the proximity to the historic center..., what to say?, All positive. We will definitely return when we return to Caceres. Congratulations team!!!
