Another wonderful week

Another wonderful week in our favourite place - despite the very high temperatures all week. Having air conditioning as the temperatures reached the high 30s was essential, and a lovely overall experience in our hotel and the associated adjacent Three Pins bar, apparently the centre of activity for the whole village!

Best hotel in the area worth far more than one star

The hotel was definitely worth more than the one star it has. We got a large double room with air conditioning and refrigerator. The balcony was at least designed so we could use it. But it was good for drying clothes.
The best part of the hotel was the breakfast place where we could sit long outside to enjoy freshly pressed orange juice and freshly drawn coffee. The common areas were large and always cleaned. The staff both in the breakfast hall and in the reception gave us a good feeling every morning.

Hotel Bar La Torre

We have been regular customers of the hotel for years and are very happy with the service only from the hotel and the restaurant, but the bar where they serve food and dinner is terrible. Expensive and low-quality food, terrible service to the point of feeling offended.
The waiters were slow, to the point that we saw them sitting down to eat and smoke while we waited for our food; they brought us the wrong food and the bill was incorrect three times, terrible service. There was even a waiter who advised us to speak with a manager to explain what happened and even told us he hoped they would listen to us. We went to explain to the hotel what had happened, and as the waiter told us, they ignored us. Thus, the experience of eating at the bar, not in the restaurant, was embarrassing.
I do not recommend it; you will pay about €230 for 4 people, and I can tell you that the food they serve is not worth it. With everything that happened, they even charged us for the shots, which were €8 each.
Nothing bad to say about the restaurant's kitchen, which unfortunately we could not enjoy due to an accident with the cook, whom I hope recovers soon.

Great location of the hotel

Excellent Hotel, very well located and quiet, rooms with excellent views of the Bay.

Nice location but very noisy nights

Very nice location and beautiful panorama - but very noisy nights because total absence of soundproofing .. old woodwork without waterproofing. Sea view rooms that overlook the kitchen and terrace dive with an end of Service around 2am then cleaning and repositioning tables and chairs - discussion between waiters - your night starts around 4am - resumption of activity around 7am / / rooms on the garden and parking side, you overlook the path connecting the city parking lots to the beach ... passage incessant much of the night and very noisy- and deliveries for restaurants and garbage cans- not to mention that the Spanish speak very loud in their rooms ....., the lack of soundproofing is really harmful . Very summary room and very old furniture - no mini bar so no cold drinks. Simple and correct breakfast but identical throughout the stay ... also to note a very steep increase in terrace card rates in 5 years ... nice hotel by its location but which would need renovation to confirm their quality / price ratio.
