The hotel is pleasantly located, facing the sea.
However, we had guests during the first night of our two-night stay. Huge cockroaches. My wife and children didn't sleep a wink all night; we had taken our things out of the closets, but we had to put everything back into the suitcases.
The next morning, the hotel staff came to inspect, set traps, and used disinfectant.
As compensation, we were offered the option to cancel the first night or add an extra night. We accepted the latter proposal, but when noon arrived, we were asked to leave the room, and they said they had received no information regarding the incident.
We therefore had to leave the hotel in a hurry.
It would seem there is a blatant lack of communication between the teams. And in the end, it is the customer who pays the price.
Too bad, the hotel was very nice.

Great experience

Great location, parking is a big bonus, staff are excellent, special mention to the lovely lady with English in the reception. So cheery and helpful. Worth paying a little extra for the full frontal sea view rooms.
We went for half board as just off season, very good service, choice of 3 for each course. Good value.
Roof terrace with small pool, for adults only, is a must.
Lovely beach front walk into Palamos (3km) but an hourly open top bus available outside the hotel.
Totally recommend this hotel.
