Very good

Excellent room, cleanliness, excellent deal with the owner and his mother.attentive to everything.I recommend it to everyone.I would come back without thinking.

This was a perfect place to stay. It was near downtown and at the same time, far enough from the noise

It was a great stay, clean rooms and very close attention from the owners. Very good service and dedication. The best breakfast we had of all our trip around Europe!
It was in a good and secure area. Plenty of parking space.

Walking Distance To Center - Free Parking

The Malóbriga is located in a quiet residential section of town about a fifteen minute walk from the city wall. There is plenty of free parking right on the street with no worries about "zona azul" and associated parking tickets. Reception is in the bar area on the ground floor. The young man who checked me in was very pleasant and personable. He said that he was going to give me a room on the second (our third) floor because there was going to be some sort of a gathering in the bar that could be disturbing if he put me on the first. I thought that it was considerate of him to do that. The room is large with plenty of room to spread out. There are two twin beds with loads of space between them. There is a nightstand, a wooden chair, a large built in closet, and a small flat screen TV mounted on the wall. The bathroom is very tiny and somewhat cramped. But it gets the job done. My great shower made up for it. It is a bit difficult to get in and out of the shower though. The half bath tub is very high and the toilet is right up against tub. But there was good pressure, lots of hot water. The shower is enclosed and no water makes it onto the floor. The only negative is that the wifi worked in the bar area, but not in my room. Room price was 27€.

My stay in Hostal Mirobriga

This is hostel is at the heart of a very close comunity, the management are very king indeed and make you feel at home. The wifi service is very good and they serve a range of drinks and tapas at a very reasonable price. For value for money I would recommend this hostel above any other in Ciudad Rodrigo.

Too basic

Generically was clean, but very basic for my taste.
In terms of furniture lacks a support table. Just had a chair and a bedside table. Just had a ceiling lamp and any other light. The lighting was weak and clearly insufficient. The room was spacious because there wasn´t furniture and because it was prepared to have a third bed triple (that bed was inside the room although closed). The room will be too small for three beds. Had no air conditioning, but there was a fan in the ceiling lamp. To turn it off I need to jump up to bed. Had a telephone in the entrance wall without instructions. The LCD was small and had to leave a deposit of 20 euros in advance to get the remote control. The input through the door of the cafe and they give us the key to the input when the cafe is closed. There is no lift and we were on the 3rd floor. The hostel is located a 15 minute walk from the entrance to the city.
I did not like the basic things I described above, but the problem is they were not the only things I did not like. Moreover, we only had two towels available (one for each), with no towel to support ground when we left the bath, there was only one sheet (the other was protection for the mattress that was too thin and was spent) .
For very little I think they could easily make the room comfortable thing that was not all. I'm not going back to this hostal.
