Regrettable guests
The hotel was very good. The workers were outstanding, but if they do not control the groups of rude people who think that a hotel is their personal hangout where they can disturb others without anyone saying anything, we are lost, especially the hotel. These things are what cause an establishment to drop in category. What a shame

A cat for a hare
Until this year, our experience was always acceptable both before and after the renovation, but this year they tried to give us "a cat for a hare". Let me explain: I booked a room in March for a 7-night stay in a sea view room (premium) 35m according to hotel information, and they wanted to give us one that was indeed sea view but with only one bed and half the size. They did not want to provide what we had reserved, so we decided to turn back and, with our luggage unopened, return to Zaragoza, which is where we are from. We felt deceived; one cannot play with people's hopes. By the way, before the renovation, the food at this hotel was very good. In 2024, we only booked a room because the food was not even close to what it used to be; now it is "school menu."
I hope that whoever reads this will help them choose a hotel so they do not get "a cat for a hare."

Lamentamos sinceramente que, en esta ocasión, su estancia no haya cumplido con sus expectativas. Entendemos la decepción que nos traslada y sentimos que la asignación de la habitación haya generado esa percepción.
Nos gustaría aclarar que la habitación asignada correspondía a la categoría reservada. Dentro de esta tipología disponemos de diferentes distribuciones, todas ellas con vistas frontales al mar. En su caso, se le asignó una habitación con cama King Size situada en la zona de la piscina. Comprendemos que en visitas anteriores se hubiera alojado en otra ubicación de la misma categoría, sobre el paseo marítimo, y entendemos que esa fuera su preferencia. Nuestro equipo le mostró las distintas tipologías disponibles y, lamentablemente, no fue posible realizar un cambio al encontrarse las demás habitaciones ocupadas.
También lamentamos que nuestra propuesta gastronómica no haya sido de su agrado. Agradecemos que comparta su percepción, ya que las opiniones de nuestros huéspedes nos ayudan a seguir revisando y mejorando nuestros servicios.

More like 3 stars than 4, but it's still good.
Paid covered parking; I am not sure if that was specified on the website?
Also, the safe in the room is paid, which is quite unusual and shocking even though the price is minimal at €2.50.

Nice quiet stay
We have just returned from a trip to coma ruga staying at 4r gran Europe and had a lovely time. We travelled for a wedding in sitges but chose this hotel due to it being family friendly. The hotel itself is well kept, the rooms are basic but have everything you need.
We travelled with our 2 year old and although it was advertised as a family hotel there wasn’t a huge amount at the hotel for children, the shallow part of the pool is 3m so unless you have a confident swimmer it’s not really suitable, the children’s play centre was not open, and there was no family entertainment but as a whole there was plenty to do for a week. The turtle pool was very entertaining and there are lots of play arears all along the beaches to walk to.
Food was good, lots of choice for breakfast and dinner - buffet style and was varied each day. Drinks prices were reasonable and lots of choice.

The Main stretch of coma ruga where there are some restaurants and bars but it was a lot quieter than we expected - not sure if the season had not started yet but by 10pm everything was closed and in the week there was only a few restaurants open even in the day. A week was fine but if we stayed any longer we would have been bored.
We travelled to villa nova via train one day but due to works on the train we were unable to get a train back and it took us and hour and a half to get a taxi back, there are no taxis driving round, we asked locals who were really unhelpful and we panicked a bit with our little one so it put us off travelling anywhere again.
Uber, cabify and bolt do not work in sitges, villa nova or coma ruga so you are reliant on local taxis and unless you can speak good Spanish you will struggle.
We travelled to sitges and managed to get the train there and taxi back which cost us £70 then another day train there and taxi back late at night which cost £90.
The week we stayed seemed to be catered for OAP’s - not sure if this is a regular thing or just again out of season but the music and ALL the entertainment was catered for 65 and over. I would say 80% of the guests were pensioners which was lovely to see nice and quiet but meant there wasn’t much atmosphere or things to do for younger people.
Overall it was a nice stay and suited us for our trip this time.

We have been at this hotel for a week, we had a reservation for nine nights, but we could not endure any longer. The hotel itself is acceptable, but the meals are all buffet-style, which becomes tiresome after a few days due to the repetition, so it is advisable to eat out. But the worst part is that it feels like a dog kennel; I have never seen so many dogs in a hotel, of all sizes and breeds. In the lobby, in the bar, in the elevator, I like animals, but everything has its place. Perhaps in a dog boarding facility, there are fewer. We are definitely not coming back, and before booking, we will ensure that it is only a hotel for humans. We already have our opinion about this chain, which we share with you.
