Good honest well priced accommodation
What great , honest down to earth accommodation, it's not fancy, it's clean and tidy with a location to die for. Johanna the host will always go above and beyond to make your stay as special as it can be. You can fall out of bed and onto one of the best beaches in the area, that never get to crowded. With a cluster of good restaurants within walking distance, a large square and play area just a 150 meters away weather your a family with children or a couple for a quiet get away you will love it

Very good location, Very poor cleaning and worn apartment.
The location was absolutely optimal in terms of both the city and the beach. We rented windsurfing equipment from TWS, which was just a short walk from the apartment. Proximity to the sea was a big plus. Nice terrace with a view to the sunrise and the sea. Had the sun pretty much all day. Nice room layout, large and bright apartment. Practical.
The cleanliness was absolutely tragic. We had the apartment rewashed, but it helped very little. The moldings around the apartment looked like they had never been washed, or hadn't been washed for years. Also very dirty up on cupboards and kitchen cupboards. Behind the dressers and beds was a thick layer of dirt, dust and shit. Kitchen chairs that were very dirty and kitchen cabinets that were not very clean either. Very unappetizing and unhygienic. Complained about the washing and upheld by the landlord. But the cleaning assistant only rewashed where I pointed to show a couple of examples. Not fit for this job. Also heard from the neighbors in Apartamentos Rocamar complaining about the same. Otherwise, the apartment showed signs of being very worn. Refrigerator of an older date with a door that did not close properly without giving it a kick. Cabinet doors that could not be closed and windows that could not be opened/stayed open are examples. The furniture in general showed signs of being very well used. There were also a number of cockroaches infested in the apartment. But we got over these after a couple of days. No hot water other than in the shower. So do not use hot water for e.g. washing dishes and hand washing. The apartment showed the signs of many years of use without maintenance and cleaning.

Great view
Lovely apartment with massive terrace and beautiful view. Two beds in each of the two rooms which are not double so you can sleep four people separately. This is apartment 9. Nice lounge good telly with Netflix etc. but sunny every day so no need. Kitchen, bathroom and one of the bedrooms have no windows. The other bedroom has lovely window overlooking the sea. Kitchen extremely minimal could do with more cupboards. We did have use of washing machine though on another floor. Bathroom toilet right next to the kitchen. Whoever designed this had some weird ideas. The big terrace with the view makes it all worthwhile. Right on the beach, close to town and shops and restaurants and bars. Johanna the host is extremely helpful. Sorted out a few missing things from the kitchen, extra pillows etc immediately.

Amazing spot but crappy and dirty apartment
The apartment is at a amazing spot, but it was a bit disappointing. Everything is (almost) falling apart, for example one of the beds was broken, the shower is loose and the electric wall socket is coming off (dangerous).
The pictures were pretty misleading...
The vermin and cockroaches were marching around the apartment.
Luckily the terrace is very nice and the views are amazing!

How close can you get?
This January we stayed in a stunning apartment with Scandi white decor and as close to the beach without getting wet. The apartment has well equipped kitchen and a balcony to enjoy sunrise and sunset . The wifi was excellent and there is a TV should you feel the need to watch it.
