Adnan went above and beyond!
My wife and 1.5 year old daughter stayed at the METT Marbella resort for 3 nights in August and Adnan from Guest services checked us in. Since our daughter is too young to use the main pool he was able to help us upgrade our room to the nicest room on the entire property which included our own private rooftop pool overlooking the beautiful beach. We are very happy with the rest of the resort such as the breakfast buffet which has a fantastic selection for all tastes. We will be back again for sure. Thank you for helping us make these great memories!

Fantastic….. but there is a but.
Fantastic, but there is a but! Staff from the cleaners, front of house, bar and general staff absolutely a big 5 stars. So friendly. The hotel was spotless throughout, rooms big and spacious as was the shower. We had a garden room which was fine. The hotel overall is well laid out, the pool area extremely comfortable as were the sunbeds, beach was stunning and service was first class from the pool area to the beach area. I have noticed other reviews complaining about the music, there was a beach club vibe on the Friday. Sax player, trumpet players, DJ, dancers and bongo drums…it was brillent other than that it was peaceful and relaxing all other days around the pool. It is expensive to stay here but you get what you pay for, which was a venue that is right up there with the best in the area. The BUT!!!!!!…….. breakfast……. It was plentiful covering everything you would want including an expensive egg menu, eggs royal, Benedict etc. the issue was it was all cold….. and no hot plate to keep the hot food hot and enjoyable……I am someone who enjoys a good English breakie it just fell short for such a brilliant hotel. I did try the egg menu hoping that would come cooked to order and hot, but unfortunately the poach eggs were also cold so did not attempt to eat due to the health risk with cold eggs. So it wasn’t a one off as we stayed for 5 days. So just ended up with toast. Other hotel guests we spoke to commented on the same issue. Just not sure why there is not a test on the temperature of the food and that needs to be addressed. Would I come back……. 100% yes. Just hope they look at the cold food problems.at breakfast, it really let it down for a place that was so immaculate in all other aspects.

Love the Mett such a lovely hotel and top notch customer experience from the moment you walk in they ensure you feel welcomed and are super friendly and helpful! The room was very clean and they have a good pool and beach club! I highly recommend.

Lovely hotel but slightly flawed.
Having just spent a week in The Mett hotel, I thought I'd give it a review.
The hotel is large and airy with a nice big reception area. The concierges were all very pleasant and helpful. Upon check in the reception staff were efficient and friendly and we were quickly into our room.
The room was a good size with a queen sized bed. The bathroom was modern and clean but did not contain a bin, which seems like an oversight. The rain shower was large but the tiling on the walls was uneven and looked like an amateur had done the job.
The pool was large and inviting but is only open from 10am each day. Why? People like to swim in the morning before breakfast. The number of sunbeds was also lacking and the available ones filled up very quickly. The incessant music that played from about 11am onwards became repetitive and louder each hour and I get that they were trying to instil a party vibe in the late afternoon but they really needed a better DJ for that. The staff by the pool, whilst pleasant enough, were hard to track down at times and get the attention of when we were ready to order drinks or food. (Other hotels of this star rating have a button. Why doesn't The Mett?)
The food was excellent. The breakfast was really something special with a huge buffet selection and a choice of eggs made to order. The staff in that restaurant area were very chatty, attentive and friendly. Again though, the music. At 8am, folks having breakfast don't want Volare (Nel Blu Di Pinto Di Blu) blaring out. They want a quiet and relaxed vibe.
The location of the hotel is right on the beach and a short walk away is the area of Cancelada which has many dining options at much better value than the hotel offers.
Overall the hotel is very nice with some lovely staff, but having stayed in 5 star hotels across other parts of the world, this one did not quite match up.

Hotel Mett Marbella
Mett Marbella is a fabulous hotel and the staff are all lovely. They couldn’t have looked after us any better and it helped make for a memorable week for us both.
If I had any minor observations they would be as follows:
1. I felt that the DJ playing loud music at the pool every afternoon was unnecessary. The overwhelming majority of guests were of an age ( as we are) that probably not have appreciated this. It was fine for us as we left for the beach as soon as the DJ got into position but it is maybe something to be considered.
2: The fact that the hotel allows non residents to rent sun beds and cabanas at the pool didn’t sit especially well with me. It encouraged small groups of young men who came to enjoy the pool and DJ etc which I get but I found it uncomfortable and too noisy. I appreciate that this is a commercial decision by the hotel and I get that but from the view point of your hotel guests I think you may wish to review this policy going forward…
These two opinions aside our experience at Mett Marbella was excellent and very enjoyable!
