Great

Great place for those travelling alone, you have access to the university accommodation, the room has private bathroom, with views, and a very comfortable bath. Very quiet and great to sleep too. The location is great.

Nice Hostel Vibe

Pros:
- located very close to transport links, main attractions of the city, bars and restaurants. All within 5-10 minute walk.
- WiFi is excellent
- Staff very helpful
- Clean and Tidy
- 5 euro breakfast
Cons
- No air conditioning, it was very hot at this time of year and its badly needed.
- No TV (this is a very small gripe, I realise this is a hostel)
If you're an Avid traveller you would of stayed in worse than this, its a great central point to explore.

Great location for busy city breaks

The staff were helpful before we even arrived, and due to our flight being delayed our 1am self check in was easy.
The rooms are spacious with plenty of storage and a desk. No air con but there is a desk fan and balcony doors.
The bathroom was clean and tidy with plenty of towels.
Staff were helpful with parking and showing us the map.
Great location, 5 mins from the station and ten from old town with upscale shops and restaurants all around. WiFi was full bars all week. It was warm with no air con, and maybe some people would want a TV but its perfect for a quiet clean room to come back to after a long day exploring.
Would definitely stay here again.

Bad rooms and no air-con but very nice people

We came in the 27nd of august. The man at the reception speaks influent English and was very kind. He recommended restaurants and gave us an upgrade for the room, because there was a better room available. We were very happy.
When we came in the room, we found out the hostal is cheap because the rooms are horrible.
Like you went 40 years back in time. No air-con. A smell and everything was old. From the shower to the sheets.
So, when you go to this hostal;
- no air-con
- old shower
- old beds
- smelly room
- nice people

Excellent for a short stay

We have stayed for 2 nights while we discovered girona and blanes. The staff were very helpful. Facilities were modest but we had everything we needed for a short stay. Things to keep in mind- there's no air con in the rooms but if you keep the blinds shut its managable. There's cooking facilities and fridge freezers available in the kitchen and a locked room for luggage if you arrive before the check in time.
