Very disappointing and no ability to use advertised amenities
This is not a 4-star hotel, more like a 2 or 3-star. Our junior suite was dark, basic, and overlooked the motorway, with constant traffic noise.
Housekeeping was poor: empty toiletries on arrival were never refilled during our 6-night stay, and issues like the broken safe, missing toilet paper, no electricity for 2.days, required repeated trips to reception as the phone didn’t work.
We chose this hotel specifically for the pool, but it was constantly full of children with no adult-only swim times. As a result, we couldn’t use it, which was very disappointing and ultimately defeats the reason we booked.
Food in the bistro was mixed (good burger, bland and overpriced goat dish), so we didn’t return.
Positives: convenient for Sierra Nevada, with Hipercor and El Corte Inglés nearby.
Overall, disappointing—especially given the pool was the main reason for booking.

Very disappointed.
Very disappointed with this hotel. Arrived to find there is nothing around it. Nowhere to go for dinner in the evening. Paid for a premium room and had to go back to reception to get it changed as I have stayed in standard rooms in hotels that were better. Because you put a super king bed in the room doesn't make it a premium room. Having to get a taxi into the centre to get dinner each night. Arrived back to find two towels and a toilet roll on the unmade bed with a note on top of them. The note read, because of short staff we are unable to service your room. So bins not emptied, no refreshment of tea and coffee and basically nothing touched. They also advertise 24 hour breakfast but didn't make it obvious that it is not in the buffet room. So we arrived down for breakfast at 10.30 only to be told they are closing. Then the girl told us to go ahead and get it breakfast and charged me €36. When I got coffee and juice and something to eat the girl came over and said they were closing in 5 minutes and we needed to eat up and leave. I also paid more for this hotel than hotels in the town centre. Well done Gran Luna. I will be contacting you for some sort of compensation.

Not as good as expected
check-in was a bit drawn out due to new requirements. the rooms were OK but other clientele were not so polite: leaving a dirty diaper in the trash next to the elevator. The breakfast was ok, but the dinner was not that good. Maintenance could step up a little on the outside areas.

The pool was dirty, kids club no AC, a mess, bed in the room separated from the wall, shower wasn’t working properly, empty hand soap in the room. It was not 4 star!

The property was very clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, several maintenance and security issues detracted from our stay.
One of the three rooms I reserved had a door that would not close properly for the duration of our visit, creating a legitimate security concern. Although the issue was reported, we were never offered the option to change rooms.
Other issues included very slow-draining sinks and showers, never receiving the Wi-Fi password, and difficulty exiting the parking garage because the parking ticket repeatedly failed to scan.
The in-room safe was also problematic. It required a key to lock and unlock, but no key was provided. Even more concerning, the safe was not secured to the room and could easily have been removed, making it ineffective for protecting valuables.
The hotel has the potential to provide a great experience given its cleanliness and courteous staff, but these maintenance and operational issues need to be addressed to meet guests’ reasonable expectations.
