Great place to stay, will fit your expectations, solo or as a couple or family
A great place to stay, featuring warm and knowledgeable welcome by the owner Raquel. She is native to the area so you can expect great advice for excellent food and to seize the best of the surroundings. You can have the room that better suits your needs, from spotless bedrooms and baths with new beds and mattresses with fresh linen, to the luxurious jacuzzi and spa suites with an optional masseuse service for cheap. The Wifi worked flawlessly so i managed to relax without losing contact, even during a working trip. I'm looking forward to return as soon as possible. There is a spanish style bar nearby where you can have dinner or just a drink with tapas. A mini bar near the front desk with some soft drinks, beer and wine is a nice feature and you can also order some food from places nearby.

They have to close it, it's very disgusting.
The biggest scam I have ever experienced. Abandoned maintenance house, the SMELL IS UNBEARABLE, the smell of a damp basement is mixed with the air fresheners that are plugged in and you can barely breathe. The hygiene is minimal, very insufficient, it is disgusting to get into the bed or walk barefoot. The jacuzzi shower does not work, the bathroom cabinet and the nightstands give off such a smell that you cannot put anything inside. There is no hairdryer, the terrace is disgusting, total abandonment. No one at reception, only for charge and tell you that that smell is typical of Cantabria. You should inspect it for health and close it, it is totally unhealthy. It has hardly any light, only two spotlights that illuminate the ceiling, which is very high and full of spider webs. The lampshades of the lamps the tables were full of mold...on top of the closet a lot of air freshener refills, super noisy, the rooms overlook a national highway with a lot of traffic. The breakfast area is boxed in with a smell that is impossible to eat.. .the biggest disaster I have ever had to suffer in my life and for €120 a night! It is incredible that it is still open. People with respiratory problems there die, for God's sake! They will post the positive reviews, of course. Total scam. Please close it and stop deceiving or making people sick!

The room was tiny for 3 people. There is no breakfast. Cleanliness is conspicuous by its absence. The triple room cost €150 per night, the price does not correspond in any way to the facilities and services.

Boutique Guest House
This was the third stop of our holiday around Cantabria. We wanted somewhere very close to the best beaches with nice rooms to come back to and relax in after days out. We certainly got this; we were very happy!
All of the 8 rooms are decorated in an eye-catching and unique way with extravagant furniture and colours. The owner created it herself and has very much gone for the 'boutique look' with success. She is super accommodating and attended to absolutely everything we asked for and more. She even gave me a tour of the rooms which were not occupied. My room tip would be to request a room upstairs as they appear bigger and have lovely vaulted wooden ceilings. The whole building is restored wonderfully well, with care, and lots of exposed brickwork.
Breakfast was excellent with plenty of stuff available and more if you asked. It was very much 'help yourself' with access to the kitchen should you wish. Our room had a steam room cabin which was nice plus we had access to the jacuzzi which sits in a lovely porch that gets the sun - very nice.
Overall I would really recommend this hotel as a base to work from for visiting the area. It is not a hotel to stay in and enjoy the facilities for whole days; it doesn't pretend to be as it is a guest house. But perfect for relaxing in with lovely decoration and super service from the owner.

Buen trato, excelente ubicación
Alojada durante 3 noches, la ubicación excelente. Ideal para visitar sitios cercanos: Suances, Santillana, Comillas... Silvia muy atenta desde nuestra llegada. La habitación correcta, el baño un poco anticuado y con alguna humedad. Las instalaciones bien, te da mucha independencia estar en una casita así y poder usar las zonas comunes. Los perritos son bienvenidos. Agradecemos nuestra estancia allí.
