A haven of tranquility
Have just returned from a 7 night stay. After reading a few somewhat negative reviews , I was a little apprehensive before arrival, but I quickly realised that the hotel was perfect for us. We stayed as Level guests and I would do it again. The rooftop pool was amazing, the views from the sunbeds was perfection. There was never trouble getting a good bed, and the vibe is quiet and peaceful. Theres a dj playing Ibiza chill tunes up there each afternoon too.
We had a beautiful sea view from our room- it was stunning . I really liked the vibe in the level lounge at 5pm when the complimentary tapas came out, and a special mention must go to Mikel at the level reception , and Pablo who is the friendliest waiter . However , everyone who served us was lovely. The one thing I would change is trying to get people to sight up to some sort of Melia rewards/ benefits subscription scheme. They say they need 30 mins of your time to explain it to you and won’t give you a straight answer when you ask how much it costs. I personally did not want to take time out of my day to go downstairs for a sales pitch.
The hotel is a ten min walk from the marina where there are a good range of restaurants for dinner.
Would I return to this hotel? Without hesitation.

Amazing, wow, book it.
Well what can I say about this hotel other than wow. I love Ibiza and have stayed in the area before at another chain which I thought would be hard to beat. The Melia exceeded all my expectations, the room was amazing with an amazing view of the pool and sea beyond. We had the level access with our room and this is one of the best I have ever had. The breakfast was amazing and all drinks and snacks were delicious it made our stay and I would definitely recommend it. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Pools are lovely and clean with the roof top pool having the most beautiful views.
Hotel is in a great location about a 10 min walk from the marina with lots of bars and restaurants. Overall I loved this hotel and already looking to re book for next year. If you want a lovely clean and beautifully decorated in a great location you won’t go wrong at the Meliá.

Perfect once again
The review I wrote this time last year is currently the hotels favourite, so will just add additional info for this year’s one.
We last visited in June’25 and the hotel is as clean and fresh as ever. A few new touches especially in the gardens near
Mosaic restaurant- new cushioned sofas and bean bags to relax-perfect.
We stayed again at The Level, three rooms with our adult children. They were impressed with their rooms having previously holidayed on sofa beds in our room at other hotels. Our double bedroom was great, double sinks, huge walk in shower, sea view of course, our children’s single occupancy rooms were only slightly smaller. The rooms mirror exactly what is shown on the website.
Any changes? Barely nothing, it’s an outstanding 4* hotel, the following is being picky but Melia do like feedback and act on it which is appreciated. The sweets in offer last year at The Level snack area have gone. I’m not overly bothered personally, but if you remove something maybe offer something else? We stayed at Melia Jardines in March and they had a selections of sweet and savoury pastries available- maybe add these as they were very popular.
Breakfast at The Level is a bit chaotic. They offer a table service menu for a variety of egg/toast options as well as tea/coffee in addition to the buffet and hot drinks machines. There’s a lot of waiting once seated and waving a staff member over- all of which are
excellent- but how are they supposed to know if you want to order anything? Cook to order is a bit of a wait, but lovely when it arrives. Melia Jardines seats people for breakfast, you are allocated a table, a waiter/waitress then takes your order for drinks and food and you can use the buffet as you wish. Maybe something to consider?
Our daughter preferred the larger buffet selection in the Mosaic restaurant rather than The Level for breakfast- we asked a staff member and they said she was welcome to bring her plate from there to eat with us at The Level- lovely if you prefer a larger selection of breakfast options.
Would I stay again? Absolutely, we are already looking to book for next June at Melia Ibiza and are visiting Melia Jardines again this November. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Recommend booking
Perfect 50th birthday & 25th wedding anniversary trip away.
Room had beautiful view (29) out to sea , perfect when laying in bed, or from the glass walled shower (optionally curtain available!). Fab location, just short walk to St Eulia centre. Breakfast is great, 1/2 board eve meal was reasonable for the extra cost, but the meals at the Italian in town were fantastic. Recommend buying lunch at the pool bar during the day, a bit pricey but the seafood was stunning. All staff were great, especially cleaning, bar & restaurant team. We didn’t do the level & have no idea if we missed out, but certainly had a fantastic, stunning stay. Would recommend staying here, location, atmosphere, views & just being left to enjoy your holiday.

Gorgeous however items went missing
I recently stayed at this lovely hotel for the second time and, honestly, it is beautiful. The staff, food, drinks, décor and cleanliness are all exceptional. My partner and I always enjoy the breakfast, which has plenty of choice, and nothing ever seems to be too much trouble for the staff.
Unfortunately, during this visit something happened that left us incredibly disappointed, and it’s upsetting because it has made us question whether we would stay here again.
We stayed for nine nights and, on day six, I went to wear my black sandals, which were quite expensive. I couldn’t find them in the bag I’d packed them in, so I emptied both mine and my partner’s suitcases and searched the entire room. They were nowhere to be found.
Although I was really upset, I decided to wait until I got home before saying too much because I wanted to make absolutely sure they hadn’t somehow been left behind before suggesting anything had happened.
Then, on our final night while packing to leave, I pulled out a pair of shorts I wanted to wear with one of my brand-new holiday outfits. My top, which still had the tags on and had been bought especially for this trip, had also disappeared. Once again, I searched everywhere in the room but couldn’t find it.
When we checked out, I calmly mentioned both missing items to reception. I didn’t accuse anyone of taking them because, again, I wanted to check everything thoroughly once I got home.
Sadly, when I unpacked at home, neither item was there.
Since returning, I’ve spoken to both Jet2 and Meliá. Both were polite, understanding and apologetic, which I appreciate, but unfortunately my belongings are still missing.
It’s incredibly upsetting for personal belongings to be taken from my room while on holiday, especially at a hotel that we had previously loved so much. It has left us feeling uneasy and has sadly affected what was otherwise a wonderful stay.
My advice to future guests would be to keep valuables and expensive clothing locked away in your suitcase. My belongings were inside my suitcase, but I hadn’t used the lock.
I sincerely hope no one else has a similar experience. While the items that were taken were expensive, I’m just grateful they weren’t sentimental, as that would have been even more heartbreaking.
