Ibiza is the answer and the standard is where to stay
We recently stayed at The Standard in Ibiza and had the most fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly, warm, and incredibly personable staff who immediately made us feel welcome.
The hotel has the perfect combination of modern, chic design and relaxed Ibiza vibes, and the location couldn’t be better. It’s centrally located in town, surrounded by authentic boutiques and wonderful local restaurants, and just steps away from the port for trips to Formentera. It’s also only a short drive to Ibiza’s famous superclubs and beautiful beaches.
The concierge team was exceptional. They were incredibly patient and helpful as I made and adjusted reservations throughout our stay. As a first-time visitor to Ibiza, I wanted to make sure I experienced all the best the island had to offer, and they went above and beyond to help make that happen. They were gracious, attentive, and always followed through on every request.
We also loved spending time at the rooftop bar, enjoying the beautiful views overlooking the town, great chill beats, and the perfect Ibiza atmosphere.
Another highlight was the food. We enjoyed some of the most delicious and authentic Spanish cuisine right in the comfort of the hotel.
Overall, The Standard Ibiza exceeded our expectations. I would absolutely love to return to Ibiza, and without a doubt, The Standard is where I would stay again.

Amazing second anniversary stay – just more transparency needed on rooms
We stayed at The Standard, Ibiza for our anniversary for the second year running and once again had an amazing stay.
The hotel is fantastic, the facilities are excellent and the staff were brilliant throughout. The rooftop pool is genuinely out of this world and one of the real highlights of the hotel, although sunbeds are limited and it can get quite busy at peak times.
Breakfast was also excellent, with a huge selection and so many different options available.
Our only minor criticism was the room. Last year we booked the same room category and had a small Juliet balcony with the distinctive yellow chair, which was a lovely feature and also gave us somewhere to hang wet swimwear. This year, despite booking the same room type, we were on the opposite side of the hotel and simply had double doors that opened, with no Juliet balcony or outside space. This also meant there was nowhere obvious to hang wet items after using the pool.
We completely appreciate that individual rooms can differ, but we don’t think the differences within the same room category are particularly transparent when booking. As returning guests booking the same room type, we naturally expected the room to have broadly the same features as the previous year. It would be helpful if these variations were made clearer when booking so guests know what to expect.
This is only a minor criticism of what was otherwise another amazing stay. We were also really grateful for the anniversary gift waiting for us in our room again – such a lovely and thoughtful touch that we really appreciated.
There’s a reason we chose The Standard for our anniversary for the second year running. The atmosphere, location, staff, facilities, breakfast and incredible rooftop make it a really special place in Ibiza.

The best place to stay in Ibiza
Awesome location in the centre of Ibiza- very stylish rooms and great rooftop area. Very friendly management team and great restaurant food and service.

Modern stylish Boutique Experience in Ibiza Town
A stylish boutique City 5 star experience.
Service is friendly and swift. We particularly enjoyed using the concierge team for recommendation and bookings. Roof top bar service was friendly and the sushi was to an excellent standard with a small and interesting menu very tasty and well executed. The Rooms very comfortable and modern. Service throughout was a high standard. We will return for a mini break in the future.

The breakfast is terrible and the breakfast staff is possibly the rudest and most unprofessional I've ever encountered.
