Central location

Great central location, near the center and the railway station...cheapest place I found in Irún, but actually clean and comfortable enough... friendly owner too...free wifi, good hot water shower (shared bathroom but clean)...in short, everything you need for a night in transit (we are starting the Camino tomorrow!)

Enough for one night

Very modest Pension, not to say old enough for a night and little else. Very comfortable bed, of course. Very nice receptionist.
The shared bathroom somewhat dirty and with quite chungas facilities. In the next room we had a lady who would not stop smoking and they reeked of all the tobacco rooms. I'm a smoker too, but a little please that we're in a Pension with more people around.
Overlooking the train station and a square where there was quite a hustle at night.

Location location location

Basic bedroom, clean shared bathroom. On the 2nd floor of the building. It is very centrally located and only minutes from the station. Ideal for starting the Camino - take the left turn at the bridge up the street from the Pensión.

Excellent alternative to staying in overpriced San Sebastian

This pension is located just in the centre of Irun. Not far away from the French border and less than 5min walk from Irun Colon station where you can catch a 40min train to San Sebastian. Excellent alternative to staying in overpriced San Sebastian.
Triple room was somewhat small and there is only one toilet and shower for the entire floor but it was clean and cheap. The only downside was a window overlooking a noisy street so not much sleep was done.
Great communication with the owner.

Desagradable olor a orines

Nos alojamos 5 peregrinos del camino De Santiago. Fue en las habitaciones que tienen en la cuarta planta. No nos hace falta gran cosa, pero el olor a orines de las zonas comunes era muy desagradable, muy intenso. El baño con bañera, no estaba muy limpio y la cisterna casi no tira agua, lo que te obliga a tirar de cubos de agua
