Disastrous vacation
OFFICIAL COMPLAINT FORM
I am writing to express my absolute dissatisfaction with my stay at Camping La Giralda in Isla Cristina, as the experience was totally disappointing and ruined our vacation.
We arrived on Friday, July 31, around 5:00 PM. We were two families with a total of five children, coinciding with a heat wave announced for those days. Upon arrival, we dropped off our luggage and headed straight to the pool, so at that moment we did not notice the poor conditions of the assigned accommodation.
It was the next morning, around 9:30 AM, when we realized that it was practically impossible to stay in the Kampao. There were no awnings or trees to provide shade, which caused the interior to reach unbearable temperatures. We endured temperatures of up to 46 ºC, making it impossible to even eat breakfast or stay inside the accommodation during the day without putting our well-being at risk, especially that of the five minors who were with us.
Faced with this situation, we immediately went to the campsite management to request a solution. The only response we received was that they could not do anything and that we should contact Kampao, the company with which we had made the reservation.
After speaking with Kampao, they themselves acknowledged that the Kampao assigned was not suitable for enduring the high temperatures of those days, but they informed us that they did not have any other available accommodation. The only alternative offered was to move us to another Kampao on Sunday at 5:00 PM, since the campsite was full.
As a result, two families with five children had to endure extreme heat conditions for almost two days, which is inappropriate for vacation accommodation. In addition to the obvious physical discomfort, we lost a large part of our vacation waiting for a change of accommodation and subsequently had to pack up all our belongings again and move, with the disruption that entails when traveling with minors.
We consider that the assigned accommodation did not meet minimum habitability conditions for a safe stay during a heat wave, as it completely lacked basic elements of protection against the sun, such as awnings or natural shade. We understand that the campsite and the management company should have foreseen this situation and offered an immediate solution, especially since it involved families with children.
For all these reasons, we request financial compensation for the damages caused, as we were deprived of enjoying a vacation in decent conditions, and we ask that the necessary measures be taken so that no other customer has to suffer a similar situation again.
Unfortunately, this has been our first experience at Camping La Giralda and it will also be our last. Under no circumstances can we recommend this establishment, as a vacation intended for rest and family enjoyment ended up becoming an unbearable experience unsuitable for tourist accommodation.

A disappointment. Zero rest.
We thought of a family vacation in a glamping nature space to rest. When we reach the destination that the GPS brings us we encounter the pure campsite, full of roulottes, caravans, tents, and somewhere in the middle of it all kampaoh tents. Rest? Zero. Calm? Zero. Silence? Zero. It's a beautiful tent in the middle of a campsite, that's all. Parties with very loud music until 23:30, super neighboring tents near which you hear noises to the many.... We couldn't sleep properly. Restaurant with very weak options and late schedules that do not coincide with the Portuguese schedule (like breakfast at 9:00 or lunch at 14:00) so bad, and so out of expectations that we left earlier.

The silence period during the night is not respected
The period of silence is not respected! There's no one around to check if the schedule is being met and so our last night was extremely bad! A group of about 15 people gathered in the tent next to us and around 3 a.m. the noise of people talking to them singing and beating palms was terrible. I filed a complaint and they said they had no more complaints about this tent! A lack of respect

disappointment
stores are very close together, after 12 at night there was noise from the neighboring stores, the public restrooms were dirty, the trash filled up quickly, poor signage to locate the store, broken furniture, long lines for breakfast, the dinner plates were sparse.
