Good for its price.

Was good according to its price, basic as expected.
The beds were individual and they did some noises as they seemed to be used a lot. If you want to sleep together I don't recommend it as you might fall in between the beds.
Didn't have air conditioner so make sure to not go during the summer because you are going to get fryed.

I was in the bar, because I stayed in the hotel next door, for a small bottle of tonic I was charged € 2.20 , I thought it was sweet, being outside the village and being a crappy bar, the gentleman told me that it did not look expensive, having tapas at € 1, the tonic € 2.20 .

The walls are made of paper, you can hear everything

It is a hostel and not a multi-star hotel, also in line with the price, it is clean, the rooms and bathroom are adequate although the walls are so thin that you can perfectly hear what is being said in the next room.
There was a couple and they couldn't stop talking, laughing, their phone even rang and it seemed like it was mine.
A shame because a detail like this ruins a night's rest after 700 km on a motorcycle and the hostel is very well located, you park at the door and it is cheap

Fine location, poor bed

We came to La Alberca to do some mountain walking, which is great in this area. The small town is very nice, although slightly crowded in the weekend.
The Hostal San Blas is as basic as we exptected it to be. But basics must have some quality as well. The bed was very small and only allowed us to sleep in the middle. The grunting noise from the bed indicated that it was tired itself of being slept in.
