My absolute reference for accommodation in Laòn!
Beautiful structure on the third floor (with elevator) of a beautiful building, overlooking the central street leading to the Cathedral of León; all rooms have balconies, which are accessed through glass doors.
Very bright and well furnished common lounge, adjacent to the tiny reception banquet; the hospitaller is a very kind and efficient lady, who allowed me to leave my backpack at reception, waiting for the check-in time (I had arrived quite early), then finding it in the room on my return from lunch.
The room, very large and bright, was equipped with only two bunk beds (I had reserved one of the two lower beds), already set up with sheets and a light duvet, which prevented me from using the sleeping bag.
My bed had ample living space, compared to the top bed, which completely avoided the danger of pumpkins; very comfortable mattress, power outlet and courtesy light next to the bed.
Available lockers with keys, and keys for opening the front door and the room, a comfortable armchair, a large mirror on the wall, and a balcony with a view.
Bathroom and shower complete with shampoo and shower gel, and hairdryer.
Cathedral two hundred meters, and many restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
Sublime sleep quality, and very quiet area, despite the central location.

Clean hostel close to centre with wonderful common room , kitchen facilities and welcoming host Ana.
Wonderful welcoming Ana made our 2 night stay relaxing. Situated close by to the Cathedral
Clean rooms and with kitchen facilities and beautiful relaxing common room. Great views from common room as well. Ana more than happy to help out. Bunk beds comfortable and top bunk has a handy bedside caddie to put your small items. Something lacking in many previous albergues.

Brilliantly located hostell in a beautiful building
Loved the location of this hostel, especially the gorgeous lounge area with views out onto Calle Anche. Light, airy and spotlessly clean in a perfect spot. Private room was basic but smart and clean. Bathrooms were good. Don't miss the orange stained glass door on the way out!

Central Leon Hostel
Well this 3rd floor Hostel is within 100 metres of Leon cathedral. Dorm size is 4 bunk beds. Sleeps 20 people. The place is is very clean with fresh pillow case, sheet and duvet cover. The room has it’s own key and a cupboard to lock securely your belongings. Three showers/2 Toilets and hanging area for your washing. No breakfast or evening meals but plenty of places within 200 yards. One of the showers is for people with a disability. The large shower room has a hairdryer.

Camino Frances
This is our second stay here. That should explain the rating. We stayed in a private room and it was very clean and had a small balcony overlooking a street perpendicular to Calle Ancha, the happening place in Leon for the Camino Frances. The private rooms don’t have en suite bathrooms but they are close. They are also nice and there’s an enclosed shower for your use. The hostal is on the third floor of an apartment building which is located about 200 feet from the Leon Cathedral. That’s close folks! If you are on the Camino, by now you know that 3rd floor really means 4th floor:). But, there is a lift! No trudging up unless you want to. There is good security here so you should feel safe. It is a hostal so there are dorm rooms as well for those who prefer them. We are in Room 1. Try for it!
