Great hotel with brilliant restaurant
Fine hotel with high service and very helpful staff. Rooms are spacious and so is the bathroom.
Lovely terrace serving drinks and snacks.
The restaurant is on of the very best in town.
Well stay here next time as well. Enjoy.

Hit and miss for me
Wanted to give 3.5. Overall not too bad and it was nice to stay in a historic building, but there are some issues to be aware of.
Location - good; close to Llanes train station and just outside the busy centre of the town with its open-air bars and restaurants. I did experience some street noise (my room was on the corner of Calle Colegio and Calle Egidio Gavito) and the hotel restaurant terrace is below, but when the window was closed most of the noise was blocked out.
Room - I booked a single room and the room size exceeded my expectations with a double bed, desk, large bathroom with shower, safe, TV. There is no functioning air conditioning (although it does seem to have been installed but only works as a heater). With the bedroom window closed to keep the street noise out the room was quite stuffy. Although it was only mid 20s C during the daytime, nighttime temperatures stayed above 20C and the humidity was high so it would have been much more comfortable for sleeping if the air conditioning was able to cool the room. There is a ceiling fan and although it’s large it was barely up to the job. My other issue with the room was that there was no mini fridge and no kettle to make tea or coffee in the morning - that was quite a miss for me as I tend to wake up early and like to make a cup of coffee in my room. The TV is a modern internet TV but doesn’t seem to be connected to the internet so only terrestrial TV stations are available.

Charming hotel. Exceptional.
Charming hotel, very well located with free parking
Restored ancient convent from the 17th century, attended to the smallest detail and very clean. Professionalism in all the staff, kind, pleasant, attentive, and at the same time approachable.
Highlighting the restaurant, a charming place very well decorated, with exceptional breakfast and dinner focusing on quality and local products.
Honestly, being used to traveling, it is very difficult nowadays to find a place where you feel at home.
This is our second time staying here, and it will not be the last; thank you for making our vacation wonderful.

Empathy 0
I appreciate the empathy of Manager José Antonio Concha. I arrive at the hotel at 15h explaining that because of a family problem (they have to operate on my son as he broke his collarbone) and I can not stay. No empathy and no solution. Paid room but I have to go home.
