Very good
Very good hotel, cheap yet cheerful and all the staff are very nice and go above and beyond, huge shoutout to Oscar for giving us all a laugh and doing his best to make are stay the best

metal particles in my food

I am writing to formally report a very serious food safety incident that occurred during our first meal at Htop Royal Star.
The reception staff did not provide me with a complaint form when I reported that I found metal particles in my food.
While eating, I discovered sharp metal pieces in my food. This was extremely alarming, especially because we are staying at your hotel with a child. I am deeply concerned about the possibility that I may have swallowed a piece before noticing it.
The reception staff did not provide me with a complaint form when I reported that I found metal particles in my food.
I immediately reported the incident to the reception desk. However, I was informed that the kitchen had been asked about it and they said they did not know what the pieces were. I find this response unacceptable for such a serious matter.
I have photographs of the metal pieces as evidence.
I request:
that this incident is officially recorded;
that an immediate investigation is carried out by the kitchen and management;
that I receive a written explanation of what happened and what measures will be taken to prevent this from happening again.
I will be monitoring my health closely after this incident, and if any medical issues arise, I will seek medical assistance and take further action if necessary.
I expect this matter to be treated with the seriousness it deserves.

Do not book this hotel if you are coming away as a family
The least relaxing holiday we have been on. Full of groups of teenagers and school trips, took over one of the pool areas blasting music all hours. We had to move rooms as we have them running up and down the halls banging on doors at all hours. Now 'all inclusive' pretty much just breakfast, lunch and dinner with drinks. Snack bar was a little fridge with microwave pre cooked burgers or fruit. No kids ice cream available only what you can buy. Hotel was cleaned ok, aircon is non existent and the walls are paper thin so you can hear people even talking. There is no kids club like it says and the evening kids entertainment starts at 9 which is just music and dancing. At 10 its just music apart from 3 nights they had a singer who sang in spanish. No other entertainment and if you have teens then there is nothing for them to do. They have a 'relaxing spa' which was full of kids dive bombing into the pool and no-one monitoring it.

OMG no!
Basically, if you are under 23 you’ll love it, if you are over 23 don’t do it! Staff are polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel room honestly reminds me of my old army barracks from the 90’s. You have beds, a chair and wardrobe which are very dated. Don’t expect a kettle, iron or fridge. Bathroom functions as is with a bit of mould around the place. The room has air con which is like the last breath of a dying frog, weak. We had the pool outside our balcony so could enjoy watching the testosterone filled boys trying to make the biggest splashes while the girls do their best to scream as much as possible. I felt ancient amongst a hotel full of teens with bus loads more constantly arriving daily. On a plus, the buffet offers a vast amount of choice for breakfast and dinner and honesty fills you up with as much as you can eat with really delicious quality dishes and plenty of desserts. Really not sure how this hotel is 4 star, 2 max.

DO NOT BOOK
PLEASE DO NOT BOOK very bad hotel because it accepts children, so it's like youth trips, YOU CAN HARDLY SLEEP, and even if you complain, they do nothing; supposedly they send security up, but they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. But in itself, the hotel, without these children ruining it, is actually quite good; the staff is very friendly, the pool was very cool, nevertheless the food was boring but tasty, so please do not book; I strongly advise against it, unless of course you want a sleepless night.
