Very cozy

I booked one night and the choice couldn't have been better. Views of the Roman bridge, well-furnished room, bathroom with everything you need and very clean. Very cozy and the staff very friendly. I'll go again.

Interventions to improve....

Good location, the kindness of the staff is appreciable. Cleanliness is standard. However, from the point of view of soundproofing, the hotel was a disaster. You could hear all the noises from the room above and the rooms next door, probably also due to the wooden floor that made a lot of noise when walking. The cars (it overlooks the street) did the rest. The furniture should be replaced, a bit too dated.

Very well located. Close to everything despite being at the entrance to the village, but far from where the "tourist noise" is

Awful room. We have felt cheated and with two paid nights, we have only stayed one.

Hotel painful in every way, which we have “liked” so much, that we had a Reservation for two nights, those of August 28 and 29 and just after spending the first night, Thursday morning, we left. The result: one night in a miserable room each way for €180 (without breakfast), as the price was €90 per night. I made a mistake when booking, which I admit. On other occasions we have booked at the “Imperion” hotel (just off the Roman Bridge of Cangas de Onís), sleeping in a specific room, which we like. When I made the Reservation, intending to do it in the same hotel, dumb of me, I saw in the portal in which we booked, when looking in Cangas de Onís, looking for the usual hotel, the hotel “Puente Romano”, with an image of a red building, practically identical to the “Imperion” and booked in it, with the question that I was misled the name of the hotel and the proximity to the Roman Bridge (Hotel Imperion is closer to it). Now I see that the confusion, as has happened to me, is very easy. The address of both hotels, which in both told us “we are the same”, is c/ Puente Romano, s/n., both, and are 45 meters from each other. When booking I gave them a note stating: “Good morning. Would it be possible, if available, to assign us the first floor room that is on the corner and has a small terrace...? Thank you very much in advance in any case and until Wednesday.” The hotel responded immediately: “Good afternoon. We will consider your request to try to assign you a room with similar characteristics to be able to be. Greetings.” In view of my message, it would have been appropriate for them to reply that they thought there was a confusion, since they do not have rooms as I demanded. Arriving Wednesday at “our” hotel, the Imperion, where we thought we had Reservation, we found that we had no reservation there, sending us to the Puente Romano hotel. There we were given the key to room 205, on the second floor (not on the first as I had asked), of course without terrace, since they do not have rooms with terrace... It was a tiny, ugly room where there are any, old where there are, that had no room even to leave the suitcase open anywhere, without cleaning. Apart from the bed, there was a small armchair for both of us and a small table occupied by a small television that could not be heard or seen properly. Instead of the demanded terrace, the room had no window, it had a real “window”. My suitcase had to be left on the windowsill, so I could open it. In the room it was a thousand demons hot, but... Eureka, had on the floor a very noisy fan standing, brand Spain 1970s to solve the problem, with which it was impossible to sleep by the noise, like the one coming from the street. Quite a few hairs in the horrendous and impractical half bathtub with plastic curtain that stick to your body when you shower. To access the hotel, you have to climb half a dozen rounded stairs. Ideal for accessibility... Of course completely impossible to park in the area. I do not know how many parking spaces this “select” hotel has, but they were not available indicated the receptionist. We had to take the car to a large parking lot in the village, which is very good at 600 meters, but that is not the idea of when you go to a hotel in terms of comfort to leave the car. Immediately seeing the room on our arrival this Wednesday, we showed the receptionist our idea about the room in particular and the hotel in general, telling them that the room we had been assigned was a horror in every way. Bottom line: a terrible room, for which we have finally (by our decision, obviously), paid €180 for a single night, having been deceived. You can't ask for worse value for money. Never again.

No entiendo nada de su cabreo por una reserva a través de Booking que usted reconoce que se equivocó de establecimiento y pone de infame una habitación y un establecimiento Hotel Puente Romano 2 estrellas(habitación 205 que pueden ver panorámicamente en nuestra web:www:hotelpuenteromanocangas.com).
Usted dice que el establecimiento se tenía que dar cuenta que por su petición de terraza usted se había equivocado?
Disculpe pero tan solo por tarifa ,fotos , tipos de habitación en el mes de agosto a mi personalmente no me cuadraría (desconfiaría),nos habla de otro hotel del mismo propietario pero diferente administración llamado Hotel Imperion de 4 estrellas .
Entiendo su error y le pido disculpas por su mala esperencia (que no pudimos hacer nada al ser una reserva de bookig usted lo sabe) pero no el cabreo y menos despreciar a un establecimiento y todo lo que ello representa.

Very good and close to the bridge

Very good experience with the hotel, location and service. It is worth staying here and they have good prices and services.
Parking 8€
Breakfast 5,50€ per person under Reservation.
They are very nice and the rooms are very nice.
