Staying at this hotel was like living in a work of art. What a beautifully designed hotel! Pet friendly and friendly, helpful staff. Complimentary snacks and doggy bag. Popular attractions within walking distance.

The photos on the website suggest a place according to the name "design boutique" with several stars, but when the reality came it was different. Possibly the hotel has lost a lot in these 17 years. We were assigned room 001 and, on entering, it looked more like a storage room than a room. The design was meaningless and the elements were disconnected, which generated a claustrophobic feeling. All the walls were covered with curtains, apparently to hide holes connecting to the reception. The bed was broken and repaired with American tape. Although there was a cupboard that had a fridge, the smell of mold was so strong that I preferred not to put my clothes there.
In the middle of the room was a sort of walkway from the door to the wall opposite, with a descent of a few inches. I do not understand its function, apart from hurting my feet and collecting water from the shower, whose door also opened to the room. It doesn't invite a shower quietly. Luckily, the sink had its space, but the light switch was in the middle of the room wall. I could tell more details, but I think my disappointment is clear. When booking, I requested something special to celebrate our 25th anniversary, but I never received a reply.
After a few hours in the room, we asked to change it because it was not really what they advertised as double/twin according to the website. We were informed that that day was not possible, but the next day we could do it; however, we consulted again and it was not possible, so we had to stay there all four nights. Looking at the pictures and explanations on the web, I expected something different than a standard hotel, but after staying in all kinds of hotels, hostels and apartments, this has been the only place I wouldn’t go back or recommend.
It depends on which room you touch does not let you be deceived by the images posted on the different sites.

There's been a lot of effort put in to designing this hotel and the job is done nicely. But some things just doesn't work. There's some kind of advanced shower with lots of buttons and shower heads, but no instructions and finally I only managed to get water out of the handheld shower head. There was a very nice mood light surrounding the bed, but nowhere to turn it off, and finally I had to pull the plugs out of the sockets to turn the lights off. The one electrical socket availible to charge my phone didn't work, so it was a good thing I needed to pull out plugs to turn the lights out. According to the hotels .com info there is supposed to be a jacuzzi and spa, but that doesn't seem to be the case. The jacuzzis are in certain rooms, and not available for everyone, perhaps there's a treatment room, but when I asked about the hotel amenities this wasn't something they told me about. Apart from all this my room was spacious enough even though I had opted for one of the small ones, everything was clean and nicely furbished with a modern look and feel.

The breakfast it is very good it is a mediterráneas style and the lady in charge is very friendly and nice loves to help you and it is a very friendly and familiar atmosphere

We expected something more!
The choice of this hotel was made first of all because a few steps from the Gran Via as well as well connected to pharmacy, supermarket and tobacconist in the first place. The rooms all apparently very nice but functionally uncomfortable. Suitable for a short stay in my opinion. Friendly enough staff, breakfast . I wouldn't go back.
