Use Public Parking on Calle Relatores

We rented the luxury apartment with king bed and we were happy with the size and features. The apartment was on the street facing the plaza but was relatively quiet. You can’t drive up to the front and the hotel does not have parking. We parked at a public garage less than a block away (Calle Relatores, 11). Besides that, it is a good location. Go to Toga for dinner… it’s a 3 minute walk and very good.

Beautiful & comfortable

I stayed for 7 nights in a 1 bedroom apartment with 2 “historical” (double glazed) balconies (61 m²). My apartment is beautifully furnished and incredibly comfortable. Washing machine & dish washer are provided. “Balay” kitchen appliances. “CREATE” Retro Toaster & Kettle. Fast & fab WiFi connection. 24-hour reception is a plus. Front desk personnel Mr. Stéphane was friendly, courteous & responsive to requests. Housekeeping did a great job as well.

Location is easy and walkable (Plaza Tirso de Molina, number 8). Carrefour & Lidl are across the plaza. Plaza Mayor is a 5 minutes walk. There are 17 exclusive apartments in the premises. I highly recommend this type of accommodation, because it is home away from home.

There is a small reception at the top of a long flight of stairs and i had to carry my luggage up/down the stairway myself (no porter).
There was no luggage ramp next to the stairs, so guests can roll their suitcases up.

Construction site with no spa access or hot water

This Aparthotel is an absolute disaster. They advertise free spa access for 1 hour per adult each day, but the spa has long been closed for renovations. To make matters worse there are constant water supply issues. There was no hot water in the shower every morning and it took 10 minutes to warm up in the evening. Last thing one wants to do in December is having a freezing cold showers. Given exorbitant rates all they offered was a 15% refund. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. There is also extensive construction inside the hotel and outside on the square that has been going on for months. In summary, you’ll be staying on a construction site with no access to the facilities advertised and no hot water.

Wonderful Stay in Madrid

We just returned home to Boston after our stay at the Palacio Tirso De Molina.
There were four of us and we rented the penthouse. The room was incredible, very spacious with high ceilings and well equipped. The front desk personnel of Leticia,
Jaime, Oscar and Marino were very friendly and responsive to requests. I would highly recommend this hotel for a family of 4-5.

beautiful apartment in the center of Madrid

very good location, which allowed us to discover Madrid on foot
The place was under construction in seven 25, but the very effective triple glazing left us sleeping without problem. Excellent bedding.
Beautiful place very recently renovated , apartment decorated in the taste of the day and great cleanliness.
We recommend!
