Nothing fancy, but in the heart of Madrid, it does exactly what it promises—and does it well.

ITC Mora by Soho Boutique is a solid choice, especially for its excellent location - almost directly opposite the Prado, which makes exploring Madrid incredibly convenient. The rooms are simple but comfortable, with a small balcony that works perfectly for a short stay (3-4 days) for two people. It’s not a luxury experience, but given how pricey this area can be, it definitely meets - if not slightly exceeds - expectations for the budget. A nice touch was the service: although we arrived early and the room wasn’t ready (as expected), the receptionist was very accommodating. She stored our luggage and even managed to have the room ready ahead of schedule, which we really appreciated. Didn’t try the breakfast, so can’t comment there - but overall, a pleasant, hassle-free stay in a great part of the city.

First time in Madrid

Booked this hotel through booking.com with no knowledge of Madrid at all. It was perfect in every way. Great location across from Botanical Gardens and Prado Museum. Easy and fun walk (uphill) to Plaza del Sol passing lots of eating places, specialty stores and bars along the way. Very vibrant area.
The hotel itself was really pleasant. My room overlooked the street and botanical gardens but was very quiet. It was a good size plenty of closet space and with a large bathroom.
Staff were very pleasant , polite and helpful. Small restaurant served breakfast which was included in my rate. But lots of places nearby if you don’t want that option.
Loved the hotel and lived Madrid.

Very disappointing, avoid at all costs, misleading photos.

Hallway and landing toward the rooms curiously narrow; room (price similar to all the others) tiny and monastic, no decoration, cold, pale lighting, trampoline-like box spring bedding! Toilet seat unsuitable, plumbing defective. You can hear the sound of toilets flushing and a glass on the sink in the next room at any hour. Breakfast at 7:45, TRULY minimalist, served at the table, long wait, and there were only 2 tables occupied... 1 undercooked croissant, OR 2 slices of bread + 1 small butter, 1 coffee or 1 tea, 1 very sugary fruit juice. Served by two friendly young women, or by a man, about 50 years old, who pretends not to understand, even when reading the order on Google Translate, and refuses to substitute milk for tea!
On the other hand, the reception team is very friendly and attentive.

Excellent location. Staffs were extremely helpful. AC worked very well (very cold). Amenities were very good
