Amazing
Wow wow wow just perfect we have stayed in lots of Melia hotels but this one was one of the best from the minute we arrived to check into the level our suitcases were taken away by a lovely gentleman and placed in our room we were escorted then to the level lounge where there was another lovely gentleman who greeted us and explained that the array of tapas and drinks were all included in our level stay our room was very spacious and spotlessly clean with all the usual lovely extras like ritual toiletries mini bar etc we returned to the level later as there was a full free bar service from 5-7pm which we enjoyed we then went to the bar area and had food which was gorgeous then this morning we went to breakfast and the level has a separate section where you order from the menu and it was delicious the staff could not do enough for us so 10 out of 10 melia Barajas we were treated like royalty and now we are now off to enjoy our flight to Dominican Republic for our 35th wedding anniversary but will definitely return here again

The hotel had everything that I could have possibly needed after two weeks of walking the Camino de Santiago, to feel refreshed before my long travel day back to the United States. The food both in the bar and at breakfast was plentiful, varied and delicious. I hadn't realized how hungry I was! The pool area and bar was an added bonus. One reason I chose this hotel was the free airport shuttle. The only thing missing was a hairdryer in the bathroom! If I ever I need an overnight near the Madrid airport, I will definitely choose to stay at the Melia Madrid Barajas.

Great restaurant, lovely pool and really helpful reception staff providing assistance on shuttle buses, airline check-ins and general information. Just a 10 minute ride to the airport. Nice bedrooms but the only downside is that noise insulation between the rooms is poor and we could clearly hear conversations in the next room. Perhaps installing some acoustic panelling might improve that.

Great location close to the airport. We got there late at night and used room service which was not great. Breakfast is great though. The hotel also offers free airport shuttle which was very helpful
