Wonderfully unique!
How to start the hotel review that expresses to the whole world the new luxury as it should be: With your perfect way of demonstrating your strong Service Culture in all aspects and in all areas?
In this Madrid hotel, located in the best and most exclusive sector of the city: Salamanca, on Paseo de La Castellana, stands a hidden Spanish treasure that does not require much publicity. Its advertising is the service of very high standards that every employee demonstrates with facts, it is part of the organizational culture of Rosewood Villamagna!
This is perhaps the only hotel on TripAdvisor where there are no specific names to mention for doing something exceptional. ALL its staff are respectful, charismatic, cheerful, professional, prudent, sensitive, elegant and committed to the high brand they represent!!! That's Rosewood Villamagna! I have been told that some of my reviews are so emotional and positive that I doubt if I am a guest, friend of the owner, official or directly related to a hotel and, of course!... I am directly related to the hotels where I stay because it is my passion, my taste, my personality, because I like to enjoy them from the human perspective of imperfection, so just talk about the good things they build!
Rosewood Villamagna is therefore the most worthy hotel of the RW brand in the world, without pretensions, without intimidating advertisements, without social networks that invade the privacy of its current or potential customers.
The representatives of each area of the hotel, demonstrate at ALL times, with facts, not words what the new luxury is about, so difficult to get in this market.
The total exceedance of my expectations and my dream as a guest begins with its Buttons and its Concierge Area: What a way to dress, neat, exclusive, original, impeccable, historic! Unforgettable!
While the Receptionist with her smile is my gannet for a family surprise, I look forward to the assignment of my room in the lobby with a cup of coffee and a cookie served from now on exclusively Rosewood style, in glass bowl, bed of coffee beans, perfect internet, minimalist but spectacular room key, in leather, and a love of service that makes me forget completely my jet lag.
And of course, I am directed through cozy corridors with cheerful and elegant monochromatic vases, to our absurdly perfect suite!... overlooking Paseo de La Castellana, from which, until observing an original protest becomes something special!
My eyes water when I notice the hall with art pieces and a mirror that takes my eyes to subtle floral designs on the bedside table and on the dining table, which scream exclusivity, peace, sobriety, exquisicy and good taste, complemented by fresh fruits perfectly and originally arranged on a glass tray next to a silver icebox that allows the champagne to breathe and invite thanks to God for the gift of being there!
Step through the walk closet to the bathroom and there are the robes, mineral salts in a beautiful square container with lid, your hand towels in perfectly white linen with Rosewood Villamagma emblem! Exquisite!
And how to describe her slippers? They only breathe home.
It would take endless paragraphs to describe each day’s breakfast, or Sunday Brunch’s experience with live music that makes you feel chills, an oyster bar, seafood, wine selection, unique mimosas and one of my favorite Ruinart champagnes: the cherry on the cake! All served in impeccable tableware and glassware that prove everything is perfectly planned and designed, sparing no effort.
The friendliness of the captain and the waiter captain in Las Brasas de Castellana and Tardeo, their dining rooms and the respectful smile of all their waiters is unforgettable!
How can you not mention the quality and service of all the staff at Sense, the own brand of your spa? I have no words to thank you for your understanding and patience with us! This goes way beyond a product, a face cream or a massage...that’s what every hotel sells. But at Rosewood Villamagna all its staff perfectly represent the charisma, respect and discretion required to accompany the guest transparently. Thank you!
Your private shuttle service is amazing! Not only because of the different type of car and outside the already traditional brand car, but also because of the seriousness and kindness of its drivers.

Madrid’s Best
I’ve stayed at quite a few luxury hotels over the years, and the Rosewood Villa Magna is firmly near the top of the list.
Everything about this hotel is exceptional. The staff are warm, polished, and genuinely make you feel welcome without ever being overbearing. The rooms are beautiful, the property is immaculate, the spa is fantastic, and the concierge team is outstanding—knowledgeable, proactive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay.
Its location on the Paseo de la Castellana is hard to beat, whether you’re in Madrid for business, culture, or sports. It’s an ideal base for exploring the city while still feeling like a true luxury retreat.
I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for one of the best hotels in Madrid, this is it.

I stayed here with my family for two nights and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The breakfast was great and the staff was accommodating friendly and always had smiles on their face! Gorgeous hotel and great for everyone! The location is great if you love shopping. We stayed in the suite which was spacious, and super great. Super clean and comfy!!

An exceptional stay from start to finish! The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, but a special thank you to Paco, who was always at the door greeting us with the warmest smile and making every arrival and departure feel special. His kindness truly stood out. The breakfast was outstanding—delicious, fresh, and with an excellent variety. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back!

Always worth visiting
The Rosewood network waives presentations. I was staying last year but this time I just came to the lobby bar for a drink and was extremely well received and served by Alex. Very attentive and dear. The hotel is great, cool, and with a selected audience.
