First time in Malaga and wanted an apartment close too but not in the historic centre and not too far from the train station too.
A 30 minute walk to the MERCADO CENTRAL DE ATARAZANAS, ANTIGUA CASA DI GUARDIA and to the LA TRANCA tapas bar was perfect for us.
This place fitted our needs perfectly, our apartment was quiet, clean and perfectly equipped. The heating worked very well when we need to take the chill off at night, it has good speedy WiFi and nice tv. Plenty of hot water for showering too.
The roof terrace was a real bonus on the odd hot sunny day we had in February too. Would be a big bonus when the days were less rainy.

Lie the pictures all bad

The place is opposite a building under construction, impossible to sleep
The double bed is one and a half people
It is a compartmentalized studio with a piece of furniture
No privacy
The bathroom has a door that doesn't reach the floor
There's no room for anything
They show you some pictures of the apartments they never give you
It really is unfortunate the place
No coffee maker
With a rustic and dirty toaster
Bathroom dirty the walls
The toilet glued to the wall
Really.

Very cute little apartment, with a nice rooftop and close by to the center. Would definitely stay there again when visiting Malaga

It was presented as a hotel but hidden in the small print it said “annex building” which was not obvious at the booking stage. Turned out to be a KM away in a noisy street with all the shutters down for privacy and noise reduction. So gloomy and dark. Nothing like the pictures showing balconies and roof top area.

Negative experience

We stayed in this apartment for 3 days, but unfortunately the stay was disappointing in several respects. Upon our arrival there was no one to welcome us, despite having communicated the time in advance.
The neighborhood turned out to be quite dirty and, especially at night, we felt unsafe walking around. Also, even with the windows tightly closed, during all the nights we heard *loud noises* and continuous coming from outside, which made rest really difficult.
But the worst aspect was undoubtedly the very strong and very annoying smell that was felt in the apartment, from the first moment. A persistent smell, difficult to ignore, which made it unpleasant even to be inside.
