Just what we wanted for a couple of nights

This is a perfect wee spot to stay just outside Marbella. Yes it's not a big hotel with bars restaurants pool etc it's a 8 bedroom place to sleep. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, fabulous rooftop terrace to watch the sun come up. Free coffee in the morning. Cleaners are friendly. Communication pre arrival is spot on they WhatsApp me directions, parking suggestions, restaurants, bars, keycode, photos of the above.
We would 100% stay here again.
I booked it for two nights since we were driving 5 hours for a gig. Only wish we were staying longer
I've given 5 stars because what it provides for the price deserves it 101€ a night

Spectacular.
I have been to many hotels and I assure you that Alisol as a Hostel surpasses many.
Nieves, a professional. He has attended to us with holy patience. My children, my wife and I, delighted. Very well located, clean, quiet.

Nice hotel, reasonably priced

Only stayed for one night as we passed through San Pedro. The hotel is located near the town centre just a five minute walk from the main bus stop. Our room was nicely decorated, as was the rest of the hotel, painted white with modern artwork on the walls. The room was clean, the ensuite bathroom was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. There was also a coffee machine and tea making facilities in the downstairs common area that was free to use. There is also a shared terrace area to use which has a distant view to the mountains in the north. Overall good value for money and a nice hotel.

Unprofessional

Shocking customer service.
My father couldn't travel as his brother passed away.
I rang the hotel 5 days before his arrival asking for a free cancellation.
The girl stated yes, no problem.
A few days later the hotel emailed me asking if my father was still coming?
I was in San Pedro so I went down to the hotel on his behalf.
The lady at the front desk was rude. She didn't care about a death in the family. I advised her that someone here stated my father would be given a free cancellation. She stated maybe her English wasn't that good.
So I asked for my father's keys as I'll take the room, then she asked why would I want the keys??? I stated if the room is payed for I'll take it just incase the hotel wanted to rent the room out again.
She didnt want to give me the keys, she got on the phone,...thinking I couldn't understand spanish...and was speaking to someone saying that the room wasn't available now.
Then she stated that she can't give me the keys as my father's room was cancelled and they couldn't give me a refund or the room.
I would never go near this cheap hotel again.

A hostal, but not as we know it

This is a great place to stay. It is very clean, looks almost new inside, is elegant and relaxing and all for £50.
The beds seem comfy but as I only used the room during the day I can't say how much sleep I would have got.
I would advise you ask for the 3rd floor as it is next to the cute terrace which is a nice place to sit for a while.
If you are in San Pedro and want an inexpensive bolt hole, then look no further.
