Never again
We arrived at the hotel. Our walk to the room was already very negative as the walls were often very dirty or broken. Once in the room it looked okay at first. But after a good look around and especially the bathroom and toilet, we saw that there was all mold on the edges of the bath and also on the shower head. There were huge cracks in the walls near the toilet. The floor to the bathroom was completely broken and changing the temperature of the room was not possible because the batteries were removed from the cabinet.
We went to the reception and reported that this was unacceptable to us. The lady sitting alone at the reception indicated that there were 2 more rooms that we could look at. Having done this, we chose the last room, because this was the best option of the other rooms.
After sleeping on it, we decided to contact Booking.com. They told us to go back to the reception and tell us again what was going on. This is what we did. We have seen about 5 other rooms that were just as bad or that was just like the room we already had.
The hotel was built in 1980 and actually very poorly maintained which makes it look very dirty and has quite a lot of defects. That's a real shame. As a result, the spa itself looks extremely dirty. We ended up taking a massage but it was also minimal. She actually massaged one part of the body and the other part of your body was a little forgotten/skipped.
Breakfast is standard, not necessarily bad but also not special. Then I would personally recommend to just go into the village and eat somewhere or if you are going to go out and eat somewhere. The evening food you can order at the hotel is minimal, you get little for the price you have to pay and if you say medium raw you get a piece of meat that has been in the pan for a while so that the outer layer is fried but the rest is not at all. It's also extremely expensive.
The hotel has no entertainment and the village itself is not much to do. As a result, it gives the impression that the hotel and village is also more for the elderly, than that you can enjoy yourself there as young people / young adults. You are also at least 45/50 minutes away from Barcelona.
We do not recommend this hotel unless you can see through the filth yourself. In our view, this hotel deserves at most 1 to 2 stars, certainly not 4 or 5.
The staff at the hotel did think along. Unfortunately, it was just a huge setback.
