A completely recommended option to enjoy a few days by the sea.
Our experience at Playa Torrecilla Apartments has been simply excellent.
After spending several days staying here, we can say that it has been one of the best accommodations we have experienced, and without a doubt, we would choose it again if we return to Nerja.
We made the reservation through Booking about a month before the trip, and from that moment on, the communication with the complex was top-notch. Any questions we had before arriving were answered quickly, with great kindness and very clearly, something that always brings peace of mind when organizing a vacation.
The location is hardly improvable. The complex is right on the Torrecilla Beach, so stepping out of the apartment and practically being on the sand is a true luxury. Additionally, the center of Nerja is just a 5-10 minute walk along the promenade, allowing you to completely forget about the car during your entire stay. Very close by, there are also small supermarkets for any purchases and numerous restaurants for lunch or dinner, in addition to the restaurant within the complex itself. If you prefer to change beaches, El Chucho Beach is about a five-minute walk away.
One aspect to consider is that it has private parking, although the spaces are not sufficient for all the apartments. We were lucky to find a space on the second day and decided not to move the car during our entire stay, which is not a problem thanks to the excellent location.
The reception is spacious, very well organized, and from the very first moment, the staff explained everything necessary for us to enjoy our stay. The treatment was always friendly, professional, and very kind.
In our case, we were assigned a ground-floor apartment, with direct access to the garden and practically to the beach, a true marvel. Additionally, a very positive point is that all the apartments have sea views, something that makes a difference.
As soon as we entered, we found a fully equipped kitchen. It has all the necessary utensils for cooking, a large refrigerator, microwave, ceramic cooktop, and oven. We did not miss anything at all.
The bathroom is spacious, very bright, and functional. If we had to point out one single drawback, it would be that it still has a bathtub instead of a shower stall, although this does not detract from the overall quality at all.
The room seemed very comfortable for two people. It has two joined beds, a large wardrobe with even some drawers left over, a very practical desk, and several outlets distributed throughout the room, which is something that is greatly appreciated nowadays. It is true that the mattresses, at least ours, showed signs of age and were somewhat sunken, but even so, we slept perfectly every night after long days at the beach and walks.
Another detail that we really liked is that the room connects to the living room through two accesses, one of which is a sliding glass door that brings in a lot of natural light and makes the entire apartment even more pleasant.
The living room is very spacious and comfortable, with a sofa area, coffee table, and television, as well as another area with a dining table for four people. Although we hardly used it for eating, we found it very useful for organizing all our things during our stay.
And we arrived, probably, at the best part of the apartment: the terrace.
It has a table with two chairs and a built-in bench against the wall, perfect for sitting down to have breakfast, enjoy a drink at sunset, or simply enjoy the sea views. It is one of those places where time passes without you noticing.
The garden of the complex is impeccably maintained. It is spacious, very pleasant, and thanks to the proximity of the sea, there is always a breeze that makes it really nice even on the hottest days.
Another detail that we found very practical was having a clothesline in the apartment. It may seem like a simple thing, but in a beach accommodation, it is essential, and surprisingly, not all vacation apartments offer it.
The atmosphere throughout our stay was fantastic. Families and couples from different European countries predominated, in addition to domestic tourists. At all times, the rest hours were respected, and there was a very calm and pleasant atmosphere.
In short, Playa Torrecilla Apartments brings together everything we seek for a vacation by the sea: a privileged location, spacious and well-equipped apartments, well-maintained gardens, tranquility, and attentive and professional staff. These are the kinds of places you end up growing fond of because they make your stay very comfortable from the first to the last day.
If we return to Nerja, we will not have to think about where to stay. We will definitely return here without any doubt. A highly recommended option for anyone wanting to enjoy a few days by the sea, with all the comforts and in one of the best areas of the city.

Seaview Heaven
The location is absolutely brilliant. Bars, cafes and restaurants right on the doorstep. Supermarkets the same.
Every apartment has a view of the sea which is just a stone's throw away. Our apartment was huge too, it was spotless and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
The staff were always friendly and polite as were other residents that we saw, some of whom had been going for years.
We hired a car but soon realised it was completely unnecessary, everything you need is accessible on foot.
We would 100% recommend and will certainly go back too.

love this place
What can i say everything was so lovely the beach front view was outstanding the Apartment was clean and tidy and you had everything you needed for a stay if you did need anything the staff were very helpfull ....the only thing we would like to see is a lock on the bathroom door but other then that this is a really great place to go we will be back in fact its the only place we would go and make sure you get the beach front view might pay a bit more but worth every penny ....and this place is close to everything you need in a short walk so over all 10/10 for me thank you for a great stay we stayed on the 21 till 28 october this month apartment 21

Excellent
My wife and I have stayed here several times over the past 25 years and absolutely love it. Basic and spotlessly clean the apartments are right on the seafront and overlook a lovely lawn area (a very relaxing area to sit in). Balconies are all sea facing and great for sitting on at night. Across the road from the apartments there is a variety of restaurants and bar, and plenty more just a short walk away. the central location means you're right in the middle of things and the Balcon de Europa about a 10 minute walk away.Last but not least girls in Reception are very friendly and helpful, and speak fluent English. Rest of the staff were very friendly as well. 10/10.

Wonderful stay..
Everything wonderful, the apartment clean spacious the super friendly staff, we could barbecue and my granddaughters and my dog delighted with the garden...to repeat...
