Lovely little boutique hotel suited for couples more than families.
We booked a last minute city break to Palma and choose HM Balanguera as our base to explore. We arrived a bit early and check in was from 3pm but Carolina on reception was super helpful, gave us a key to store our luggage use of the facilities at the hotel. A 20 minute walk down the main road to the Cathedral gave us chance to start to explore and there are supermarkets, restaurants and bars all within a short distance.
On return check in was quick and easy and our rooms were nice and clean and exactly what you'd expect from a 4 star hotel. Shower was lovely with good pressure, hair dryer included and a nice touch was the complimentary drinks in the mini bar. As a city hotel obviously the views were of the surrounding buildings but there's a bit of greenery around and it's not too bad. The view from the terrace and plunge pool is nice and there are a few booths and sun beds for guests to use. Food is available from 12-3:30 on the terrace and drinks are brought up to you if you want them. It's a lovely little boutique hotel probably more suited to couples than families due to it's size and location ( you will need to walk or taxi to most destinations locally) but we enjoyed exploring the area.
We had bed and breakfast and the breakfast was much better than we expected given the hotel's size. A great range of hot and cold food, juices, pastries etc worth doing unless you want to have the hassle of finding food first thing. We felt it set us up nicely for the day.
My only comments would be that when people have eaten or had drinks on the terrace these aren't cleaned away as quickly as you'd expect and as a city hotel it is a little noisy at night but we found it perfectly acceptable.
All in all a good base from which to explore the city, good value for money for the breakfast and Carolina and the rest of the staff were really helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.

Superb
Stayed here for 4 nights. Immaculately clean, comfortable beds, great shower. Staff were welcoming, helpful & polite.
Breakfast was delicious with plenty of healthy choices which we like.
Pool & area was small but perfect to cool down. We never had any issues getting a bed or a cabana.
Great location, variety of restaurants & supermarkets close by.
Would highly recommend & will return again.

Beautiful stay!
Located around 20 mins from Palma Airport and around 15 mins walk from all main city attractions and shops.
Just back from a 4 night stay in the Junior Suite (room 308), with its own large private terrace, with direct sun all afternoon/evening with own sun loungers and additional seating and quiet noise levels.
Room was clean, modern & spacious with very comfortable mattresses and quality bedding. There is also a kettle and small fridge.Arrived to complementary water/ small bottles of soda/wine/beer. When refilled this is chargeable. We noted a hairdryer and bottles of shampoo/ body wash /robes and slippers too, which were nice touches.
There a small mini market next door and a larger Mercadona supermarket is about 7 mins walk away. Plenty of restaurants within local area too.
Rooftop pool has 5 sun loungers and additional seating with good views.
Relaxed atmosphere with a friendly and welcoming staff team.
We would definitely return and recommend booking the Junior Suite.

Small but fantastic rooftop pool to chill makes this hotel an excellent choice … little further back from centre but we managed walking or taxi quite easily - friendliest staff & delicious breakfast!
