Set just 100 metres from the beach and the port in the centre of El Arenal, Hotel Boogaloo offers rooms with private balconies. Palma de Mallorca is a 20-minute drive away.

Malle holidays
It's my second time here at Boogaloo. Nice welcome friendly staff and uncomplicated handling. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Location is also good. You are in 2min on the beach and even see the sea:-) Price/performance perfectly fine. Breakfast is also available and is enough to start the day well.

- one will be forbidden to bring alcohol from outside to the hotel. You can buy it at the lobby at expensive prices
Absolutely not recommended, 3 nights were a cramp.

Good Pension for Cheap
Comfortable beds, rather small shower, maids came only once in 5 days but everything else was nice. The location is great. The receptionists were really nice and friendly to give us good deals during our stay

Stay at Hotel Boogaloo (El Arenal, Mallorca)
I stayed with three friends in the month of August for 5 days at this hotel.
The truth is that when we arrived we had quite a few surprises.
-With regard to accommodation in general: for a two-star hotel it is correct, however, there is no elevator, something that makes the stay a little difficult considering that we had stayed on the fourth floor. Having to go down and up stairs every time we entered or left the hotel. On the other hand, the logistics and distribution of the buffet, as well as a rest area, is correct.
-With respect to the buffet and catering: we have found many expired things, such as jams, and other products, something totally unacceptable considering that these products must be tested in advance. The person in charge did not have a hair net, something that is also a minimum requirement considering that it is in direct contact with food.
-Regarding the room: as soon as we enter the room, we find the sliding bathroom door coming out and leaning against the wall. As for the room, in general terms, it turned out to be quite small considering that we were four people, the minimum is that it was a spacious room where we could move around comfortably. Regarding the bathroom, there were no basic toiletries, such as hand towels, soap, shampoo…something quite disappointing considering that it is something minimal coming from a hotel. The balcony was very small and we had cylinder air conditioning, making it quite uncomfortable to have to change the water at a certain time.
-Regarding the location of the hotel: the location is correct, a few meters from the beach. It is a fairly quiet area considering where it is located. Down the street, you can find a supermarket and a couple of 24-hour private stores. The street is somewhat dark at night but generally quite adequate.
-Regarding the hotel staff and schedules: the staff has been quite polite and attentive to us, positively facilitating the stay. They have recommended several places to visit, as well as bus lines. Every time we wanted to leave the hotel, the receptionist was willing to keep the key for us, something quite convenient in case it was lost or stolen. Another positive point is that the reception is available 24 hours a day and they will store your suitcases without any problem.
In general terms, the hotel is adequate considering its quality-price ratio. It must be emphasized that, despite the number of negative points described above, the hotel is acceptable if you intend to enjoy the accommodation for a few days.

Don’t stay here
Do not stay here, the rooms are awful, the bedsheets hadn’t been washed, the staff are very rude and unfriendly and acted like the police. The hotel is like a prison. The rooms are also tiny and very poorly maintained. Definitely would not stay again and would 100 percent not recommend unless you like getting treated like a c**t.
