Objekt Galicia Palace smješten je u središtu Pontevedre i nudi elegantan smještaj s besplatnim WiFi-jem. Udaljen je samo 10 minuta hoda od autobusnog i željezničkog kolodvora Pontevedra.

Comfortable but given interconnecting room without requesting so noisy
Aircon, comfortable beds, good bathroom, TV but only radio stations available. We had a door that connected to the next door room and could hear everything, so not quiet.

Poor service at the reception.
I called to speak with the manager, but the receptionist, whose name I had to ask, told me his name was Gastón. He insisted that I give him my name, and when I didn't, he wouldn't connect me with the manager and hung up the phone on me. Later, I called back, and the other receptionist who attended to me also did not identify himself, and I had to ask him several times for his name. Terrible service, incompetent and rude staff.

Very good hotel
We chose the Galícia Palace Hotel to get to know Pontevedra and not as pilgrims from Santiago de Compostela.
Very close to walking to the city center, I noticed that in the access to the interior there are stairs and the space with ramp, more useful for luggage, was occupied by a fixed elevator chair, intended for people with less mobility. It takes a second ramp, but free.
We entered before the normal time for check-in and the employee who served us was quite friendly, smiling and correct.
Our standard room on the 2nd floor, had a good size, good toilet and view to the Avenida de Vigo. There was also free water in the room.
We could leave the car in the hotel's private/covered parking lot (2 floors underground and facing the back. The parking of the -2 is larger) with a cost of 19€/night. We prefer to leave the car on the street in one of the various free places, just to see if the line traced on the parking lot floor was white. The yellow color was fine.
The Wi-Fi always worked well and the quality of sleep was great, even standing in front of the elevator.
Breakfast is very good and varied, and served in a fairly large room. It can also be served in the room (11€/Cover), but has less variety.
The hotel has several rooms with capacity for a few dozen people, is prepared to welcome large groups of people, mostly pilgrims from Santiago.
We liked the Galicia Palace, will again be our choice when we return to Pontevedra.
We stayed one night in room 203.

Another disappointment in Galicia
What a nice word "palace" but not to confuse you. Another one in Galicia that would take 1*. I have never seen a city or beach 4* without a safe, you want to keep your money, passport etc and leave it in your closed suitcase.
What memories when I sold 2* hotels in Galicia and the client came super happy, I think it is history, in two that I was the 5* minimum to 4* and this 4* to 3*. Take disappointment with hotels in Galicia tourism should control the stars in hotels and so you know what you buy

All in order. Just what I expected
Cleanliness and comfort.
Good breakfast.
The treatment at reception is correct, but not pleasant... maybe the Galician character.
I went for a professional sporting event and the location regarding the municipal pavilion of pontevedra sports is great. Thanks to that I did not have to make use of the hotel parking, which is very narrow and expensive.
