Nice place and very helpful owner

The rooms are simple, but spotless clean and with everything you need. The owner, Ramiro, makes the difference. He makes your stay really pleasant, helping and giving a lot of tips on the area. I highly recommend this place.
Needless to say, Caín is a picturesque place. Perfect to do the Ruta del Cares walk.

Friendly host but expensive

We stayed one night at the Hostel Casa Tino during a walking holiday in the Picos. There are not that many places to choose from in this small village and the prices reflect that. Our room (located in a modern conversion next to the main bar and restaurant) was 60 euros with breakfast an additional 8 euros per person if you wanted it. Given the breakfasts are fairly basic in this area, it didn't seem worth the money. There were no evening meals on offer which was contrary to the information when booking, but we were pointed in the direction of a couple of other establishments and managed to find something simple and reasonably priced. We had a couple of drinks at the Hostel and these we thought were quite expensive. Our bedroom was clean and the bathroom was fitted with a good shower but the toiletries were very basic. We didn't have a proper view (ceiling velux only) but could glimpse a mountain peak as well as a cat who decided it was the best place to sit! We set off the next morning after a coffee in the bar area. Our host was very friendly and a bit apologetic about the lack of food but explained it was the end of the season so things were coming to a close. I'm sure it's got more atmosphere and more to offer during the season, but a shame for those of us who tend to travel outside peak holiday times.

Basic accommodation in a friendly hostal

This was certainly a good choice for us. Worth the bendy and fairly long drive to get to it! Ramiro was a perfect host, extremely attentive and kind. Our accommodation was small but comfortable, that is, once we had the ventilation going at night! Both meals in the hotel were hearty and tasty, and we drank some very nice red wine. Thank you Ramiro!
The walk in the gorge as far as Pina (7kms each way) was easy and spectacular. Of course, you have to be careful where you walk! Enjoyed our picnic in the shade of a tunnel.

Accueil exceptionnel !

Un accueil exceptionnel et beaucoup de bienveillance et de générosité envers nous et nos enfants après avoir parcouru la ruta del cares. Chambre très confortable et bien équipée. Dîner et petit déjeuner très copieux. Rapport qualité prix excellent.

Alojamiento excelente para hacer el Cares

Ya quisieran muchos hoteles tener habitaciones, trato, limpieza que tiene este hostal. Encantados con la estancia y el trato. El desayuno muy bueno, incluido en el precio de la habitación.
Un sitio excelente para hacer la ruta del Cares.
