A dreamlike experience on the edge of the gorge: Simply perfect!
To speak of a Parador is to speak of a safe bet. But if you add to that a historic city with as much art as Ronda, then we are talking about something else entirely.
If you are looking for an unforgettable stay in Ronda, look no further. Our experience at the Parador was a ten from start to finish.
It is true that the historic center is restricted to traffic, but if you go to the Parador and provide your license plate number, you will have no problem. Although the entrance to the Parador's garage is a bit tight if you have a fairly large car, we were later told that you could enter through the exit, which is much easier.
What made our stay magical:
-The spectacular views: Waking up, stepping out onto the balcony, and having the impressive gorge of Ronda and the New Bridge right there is an experience that cannot be described in words. The location is simply unbeatable.
-Impeccable service: From the front desk staff to the catering and cleaning team, the service was exquisite. They welcomed us with a smile and a kindness that is greatly appreciated. They make you feel at home from the very first second.
-Outstanding gastronomy: The breakfast buffet is a true delight, very complete and with top-quality local products. We used the cafeteria/restaurant to eat during the days there and every dish was a total success.
-Rooms and comfort: Very spacious room, spotless, decorated with excellent taste and with a very comfortable king-size bed that ensured rest after a day touring the city.
For your leisure time you also have a pool available that, without being very large, serves its purpose very well next to the Tagus and with wonderful views. There is a large park next to the bullring and the parador where the sunsets are spectacular.
Do I recommend it?
Without a second of hesitation. It is worth every cent it costs. It has been a perfect getaway and we are already looking for a date to return.

Another nice Parador stay
We’ve been to Ronda numerous times and only returned to stay at the Parador. The road through town is a restricted driving zone near the Parador and New Bridge. Rather than drive to the Parador’s main entrance we drove straight to its parking garage. Parking at this Parador was €20 a night. Check in was quick. If arriving by car, ensure you provide the vehicle’s registration information (license plate number) to reception to avoid receiving a ticket.
With the exception of minor mildew in the bathroom shower, dust on the top of the TV and also where the floor meets the baseboards, the room was comfortable and clean and the Parador seemed well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I felt the breakfast staff did a very good job keeping the buffet well stocked as well as clearing tables for the next guests.

The view is worth the price
Breathtaking location, worth the splurge.i was able to get a last minute room, dont count on that, and I even got an upgrade to the best view possible. If you dont.get the.valley or gorge.bridge view, maybe not worth it. Fantastic breakfast included. Madonna stayed here in 1995 filming the Take A Bow video. Going.down into the parking garage is not easy. I would suggest asking the front desk to let you enter via the exit which is easy. Otherwise any car bigger than a sub compact will likely get damaged. The hotel facade is from the 1940s but the hotel was built in the 1990s. The view is everything here. There's a lobby piano anyone can play.. if you are good enough, per the sign.

Great location next to major historial landmarks. i was on the garden level unit next to the pool. The room was spacious and very clean. Would have been helpful to have luggage racks, so we improvised. Parking was accessible, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Loved the breakfast experience in the dinning hall. There were unruly children making too much noise. I raised this to the front desk and they responded immediately and the situation was resolved. Thank you Francisco!

Obviously exceptional location
The location right next to the bridge is obviously exceptional, that is the privilege of the paradors. Modern hotel.
The pool and the area surrounding it are not exceptional, that would actually be the downside. But obviously there was not that much space available at that location
