Fabulous apartments with wonderful staff
We booked this last minute and never having been to Salou were unsure what to expect. It outshone all our expectations. What amazing apartments in a brilliant location. We had a fabulous time and will definitely be back. When we arrived at the apartments we were greeted by Angela on reception who was so warm and welcoming she was a joy to speak to. We spoke to other reception staff over our stay and all were very friendly and helpful but special thank you to Angela. We were given the most amazing corner apartment on the 5th floor that had the biggest balcony that wrapped right around the apartment that also had a sea view. The apartment was large and spotlessly clean. It had an amazing amount of storage/wardrobe space. The beds were fabulous and really comfortable. The pool area although small was big enough and there was a life guard on duty at all times. He was not in your face but very alert and in quiet way ensured everyone and everything was ok. It was very reassuring and another very positive point for these great apartments. The Lazy Wave bar/restaurant as part of the apartments was a great area. Food and drink was lovely and the staff again were so pleasant and helpful and great service. The apartments are in a fantastic area, 5-10 minutes walk to the beach and plenty of shops in the vicinity. We all had a great time and can thoroughly recommend CYE Salou and Salou itself. I have already recommended the apartments and Salou to friends and family and will most definitely be back.

Hotel not bad but ruined by gangs of teenagers
All I can say is thank god I’m going home tomorrow. To be fair the hotel isn’t that bad in fact it was quite laid back for the first 2 days then it has and so have a lot of other hotels been taken over by Spanish teenagers. I’m all for having a good time but the hotel haven’t tried to curb the noise or stop them taking over the pool just basically doing what they want. It’s ruined our holiday doors slamming all night gangs of lads and girls on balconies playing loud music singing and banging till late at night there unbelievabley ingnernt no kids or families round the pool from a certain time when they take over the place. I don’t know how long this goes on for but I will never come back in June July. And I feel sorry for you if you’re coming in the next few days.

Better than expected and really helpful staff
I had fairly low expectations as some of the reviews didnt really fill me with hope. This is actually a fairly decent hotel for 3 stars.
My only negative- which isnt so much down to Cye Apartments perhaps more down to Love Holidays (our booking provider) is having to have either £70 or 80 Euros upon check in, cash only for deposit. I had booked 2 rooms for a hen do and trying to pull together that in cash wasn't particularly helpful the minute we arrived. Taxes are completely understandable and expected but having that amount of cash immediately was annoying as most things now are cash free. Another minor but not biggy is the only mirror in the entire place is in the bathroom nowhere else and with 7 women this was rather tricky when it came to getting ready.
The positives- the hotel is clean, cool and spacious. Yes the pool was busy but it is half term in the UK which is our fault for not checking. The air con was sufficient when the doors were shut. The staff are incredibly friendly and willing to help. They booked a few taxis for us and this was a god send when we didnt know where we were going. Great location as slightly away from noise and we were street side and had no noise in the evenings at all. We can't comment on the food as we didnt eat in we popped out but all in all a great stay.

Room 701 penthouse rooftop was the best! HUGE private terrace for sunbathing , dinner, and relax to read. Right on the main road yet quiet when sitting outside. Close walk to the beach and all the restaurants.
