Absolutely love everything about the hotel our room spaceage clean and everything was amazing the food brilliant everything meal the was plenty of options and was cooked beautifully
The staff from stepping into the hotel were friendly explained what were the rules about Eating times and even was given a meal voucher as we just missed lunch and we could use the voucher because of that.

Nice hotel
We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The hotel and our room were very clean. We had lots of space in our room and didn’t feel cramped. The adult rooftop pool is lovely and the main pool was great too but a bit busy as end of school holidays. The buffet food was okay but not great. The hotel is in a good location, easy to walk into the main centre and right near the parks. Evening entertainment was okay but good for kids. Some staff weren’t particularly welcoming, mainly in the restaurant. Overall we had a nice stay.

Did not disappoint
Really lovely hotel, we had such a nice stay! The staff were all really friendly and helpful, and the whole place had a nice relaxed feel.
We never had any trouble getting a sunbed by the pool, which was great. Breakfast was really good too, with lots of choice so there was something for everyone.

A blast
Had a great time Alex and the rest of the entertainment team where wonderful games like water polo and water basketball made each day amazing and evening entertainment was just as fun.

Did not enjoy
Just returned from a week here as a party of 6 and all of us really did not enjoy this hotel. On arrival our rooms weren’t ready so we had to wait 3 hours with a tired 5 year old. Appreciate that check in is at 3pm but at other hotels I’ve stayed at, they do their best to check you in early. When the room was eventually ready, we were told that the porter had ‘gone’ and we had to take our own luggage up to the rooms. The lift situation is absolutely ridiculous- only 2 lifts to our section of the hotel which is simply not enough for the number of guests. In addition- our party of 6 could not fit in 1 lift (which was supposed to hold 8) and I frequently had to take 3 flights of stairs with my 5 year old. Waiting for the lifts during busy periods was just ridiculous. On arrival at the rooms, 2 of the balconies were flooded with water and when I asked the cleaner to mop them she translated on her phone ‘my shift has finished and I did not make the mess, please go and ask reception’. Reception did then arrange for the balconies to be mopped but as I informed them, if they were going to make us wait until 3pm on the dot for our rooms- they should have been clean.
The cleanliness of the rooms was not to a high standard- the beds are made each day but the sheets not replaced, even when my daughter had a nose bleed. The glasses in the bathroom which we used to hold bottled water to brush our teeth and as such had toothpaste on them, were only replaced on day 6 of our stay.
The hotel is old and dated and the furniture in the rooms has chips in it.
The floor in our rooms was not cleaned for the week we were there.
The standard rooms are so small I could not open the fridge without it brushing against the bed and walking down the side of the bed was tight.
Onto the pool- what a ridiculous situation. The pictures are obviously taken with a wide camera- the pool is tiny for the amount of guests and also freezing. The sunbed situation is a joke everyone lines up to get a sunbed at 9am and then goes for breakfast and there is no lifeguard in sight to remove towels as suggested by previous responses.
Yes you can get a sunbed at the back of the outdoor area but when you have a 5 year old to supervise and personal belongings to keep an eye on, this isn’t ideal.
The food- now I’ll be honest and say I’m used to a high standard of hotel and usually visit all inclusive in Turkey (a much better experience for similar money) but the food was awful. Bland, tasteless and the same every day.
The reception staff were nice and polite and clearly doing their best but this hotel is not 4 star.
Everyone in our party commented that they dreaded returning to the hotel at night as it was depressing. I didn’t witness the evening entertainment because I was in the room with my 5 year old but the daytime entertainment involved about half an hour of aqua aerobics a day.
This hotel should be a 3 star self catering base.
As a positive- great location for PortAventura and that’s probably why they inflate the price
