Smješten na planini Igeldo, 8 km od središta San Sebastiána, hotel Gudamendi nudi fantastičan pogled na more. Okružen je vrtovima i ima vanjski bazen sa sunčanom terasom.

Great hotel with plenty of character
Stayed at this hotel as we attended the globel dance open 26, arrived late after flight was delayed ans had to drive over 1 hr from bilbao. Upon arrive to approx 23:00 we was welcome and got checked in with no issue. Location is perfect with great views and scenery. Only a 15 mins drive to the old town in San Sebastián. During our stay the world cup was also on and then atmosphere was really good. Rooms are decent and comes equipped with TV, fridge and air con unit. . Fantastic food too and overall great value for money. Will 100% be recommending this hotel to friends in the future.

Disappointing
The Hotel is located on Mount Igueldo, and the enclave is beautiful. The super friendly reception staff... I can't say the same for those dealing with the cafeteria and buffet.
In my opinion if you are in this hotel and the weather is not accompanying, and you feel tired of the whole day en route... you are unable to get back in the car to save the 25 minutes that separate you from the city center, to go to dinner, and you find yourself "trapped" in the cafeteria of the Hotel, with bad service and a dinner of "survival" quite precarious.
Let’s not talk about breakfast... the first day (as I love buffets) we went to the buffet, with a cost of 12,50 € per person.... nefarious... painful... of a very low quality. Only coffee was saved, since they had Nespresso machines.
Of course the next day we went to the cafeteria where I ordered a hot “bikini” sandwich (I specified them)... and they brought me the bikini from the counter that “I had only seen the paella” 30 seconds... not if they deigned to put butter and the cheese to melt... a total disaster. Friends we were with thought the same thing.
Large but discreet rooms with monastic decor... worse clean.
Anyway... a shame to stay at this hotel.

Bad and expensive breakfast
Good overall but expensive breakfast, bad and poorly served. Besides one must pay it every day, you can not charge the bill, bad experience. As it is far away, there is no other alternative than breakfast nearby.

Very good experience
Hotel very welcoming and comfortable in the middle of nature the rooms are spacious and very pleasant, the receptionist Maria Jesus attended us magnificently and me facto very kindly the purchase of tickets to go to football, hotel highly recommended.

Nice quiet, very clean hotel with lovely pool outside San Sebastian to stay a few days.
It's a nice quiet hotel. Once 4* but not anymore. Nevertheless, it is delicious. Clean room, good beds, perfect air conditioning, nice pool and friendly staff. You can choose from buffet breakfast or just cup of coffee with toastie or similar. Dinner can't really be. SS is 20 min by car. Parking costs E 3.50 per hour. You can also take a bus. Stop 20 min walk and 2x per hour bus.
