Calm area, excellent bus connection to the downtown, good breakfast, affordable parking, lunch and dinner arr also available for a good cost/value.

It hardly gets more uncomfortable than this.
Very unfriendly reception from bored staff. We had booked a deluxe room with a city view and received a bare room, 4 beds and a view directly of the parking lot; anyone walking by could look into the room. Two of the beds were folding beds; why we had those in the room was not clear. Only 1 chair was available, the refrigerator was not plugged in; unfortunately, we only noticed in the evening that the drinks we put in were not chilled. Absolutely bare room. Well, we have had significantly better Leonardo Hotels than this one. For 180€ I would have expected more. You can use the parking lot for free for 90 minutes, otherwise it is $15/day. However, there are some free parking spaces on the next side street. Capsule coffee machine available. Only 2 free power outlets. Luckily, we had a power strip with us. On the last day, no more Wi-Fi connection, no body lotion, no vanity mirror. Breakfast was okay, coffee was very weak. Very loud music during breakfast, conversation was not possible. Ice-cold air blowing over every table. Only a few minutes away from the hotel, bus 19 runs into the city (circular line), which worked very well.

Great hotel - go for it!
Finally, a hotel as nice as the website pictures. A wonderful place to stay for the Donosti Cup. Clean, safe, great food and friendly helpful staff. Plus two bus options on the doorstep to get to Old Town in 20 minutes. Bravo to the team at Leonardo San Sebastian!

Room was tiny but it does state that on room description. Check in staff were lovely also the pool and bar staff were nice. However the barman Manj in downstairs bar was not very polite at all. Seemed frustrated by our presence. Nice enough hotel but location was quite far out from town and hard to get taxis at night

We were a group of three traveling together: my sister, my daughter, and me. I booked a room with three beds, but the third bed—a sofa bed—was very uncomfortable.
On top of that, the bathroom had no walls, which was an unwelcome surprise. The room might be suitable for a couple with a small child, but in our case, privacy was important.
I brought the issue with the sofa bed to the attention of the front desk, but there was nothing they could do because they said all the rooms were the same.
Perhaps San Sebastián is a more expensive destination, but I paid a total of $236 for this hotel, including parking. The day before, I paid $270, including parking, for a five-star hotel in Oviedo. Considering the price, I expected much better accommodations.
